New Author Challenge 2009

January 1 - December 31, 2009

Literary Escapism is hosting the New Author Challenge for 2009.

Here are the guidelines:
  1. There is no restriction on choosing your novels. They can definitely be from other challenges.
  2. YOU decide how many new authors you want to try in 2009 and then that’s your challenge.
  3. To join, go to the post about the challenge and add your name to the Mr. Linky.
  4. If you do not have your own blog, you can join the group blog.
    1. Bloggers or Non-Bloggers alike are welcome
    2. When you read a new author, write your review (either at your site or the group blog) and then go back here and post a link to your review.

If you’re looking for some ideas, check out the Author page.

I am planning to read 30 new authors in 2009.

1. Anita Amirrezvani
2.Stephen galloway
3. Fiona Macintosh
4. Cecilia Dart-Thornton

Breaking dawn

I Finished Breaking Dawn last night. Really short kind of post modified from my other blog. So it's not really a review. But I wanted to have something here :)

But as for the whole series, Twilight was cute adn CHEESY!, New Moon was  boring, and Eclipse was somewhat better, still boring, while Breaking Dawn was rather freaky in the middle and WTF.

Oh my goodness, what was up with the whole "Alien" moment?!

And as for team Jacob, well he wasn't meant for her, he would have broken her heart if he found someone else cos then he would have left her. Dunno why people cheered for a doomed love. The imprinting thing was gross.

The end sucked big time. I was expecting some awesome fight, and it just felt like she wrote it in a hurry. The book was building up to something that then really disappointed me.

Always rooted for team Edward. But he became rather somewhat...dunno..grey in the end. He was there, but it was like he was only there to serve as her great love.

But Meyer did mess this book up. She hurried the end, she didn't let her characters evolve, and the end was not really an end.

Just checking
