Giveaway: Shadow Prowler - Alexey Pehov *closed*

Thanks to the nice people at Simon & Schuster UK, I have 3 copies of Shadow Prowler by Alexey Pehov to give away today.

And it is open to all!

An army is gathering; thousands of giants, ogres, and other creatures are joining forces from all across the Desolate Lands, united, for the first time in history, under one black banner. By the spring, or perhaps sooner, the Nameless One and his forces will be at the walls of the great city of Avendoom.

Unless Shadow Harold, master thief, can find some way to stop them.

Epic fantasy at its best, Shadow Prowler is the first in a trilogy that follows Shadow Harold on his quest for a magic Horn that will restore peace to the Kingdom of Siala. Harold will be accompanied on his quest by an Elfin princess, Miralissa, her elfin escort, and ten Wild Hearts, the most experienced and dangerous fighters in their world…and by the king’s court jester (who may be more than he seems…or less).

  5. Awesome contest, I've been wondering how the Russians do fantasy. :)

Favorite book = A Game of Thrones. It's pretty much historical fiction with fantasy elements (and in a 2nd world). Great stuff.

    Definitely dragon. :D

I don't know what my favorite fantasy novel is, but I do think I'd like to be an elf, not one of the sweet, cute ones, one of the ones that are sexy but scary, too, you know.

My absolute favourite fantasy series is Anne McCaffreys Dragonriders of Pern. I love the writing and the dragon-rider connection. Yes, I am a little jealous!

  23. Woohoo, this sounds great <3

Um, my taste in Fantasy has developped dramatically over the years. I started with The Lord of the Rings (didn't we all?), and I'm currently rather leaning toward Dark Fantasy and much more complex (in terms of POVs, mostly) worlds. Currently my favourite should be GRR Martin, though I also enjoy Feist, Hobb, and Carey's early trilogy.

    Hee!
