The Island was very popular on my commute at one point...be curious to see what you think off it. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your holiday days!
I did read another book by her and enjoyed it. So hopefully this one will have the same feel
DeleteHave a nice weekend and let the next week be better than the last one!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so :)
Deletelol it's really not possible to take control of my TBR pile, REALLY NOT!
ReplyDeleteHaha, to be honest, it's not possible to take control of mine either
DeleteI am also trying the Taking Control of Your TBR...
ReplyDeleteHeather ~ My Sunday Post

DeleteI've seen that cover of Bloodstone - it looks loooovely! :) Well done on taking your mini vacation, darling! :) Enjoy all your reads!
ReplyDeleteIt was great :D And why save it? Cos my contract ends and then we close for the summer
DeleteLove the cover for the Island!
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice
DeleteI love finding great books at the library. My Lib. has a used bookstore in it--and I attack it @ least once a week! Enjoy, your books!!
ReplyDeleteOh cool! I'd love that, cos mostly the give take table is full of crap
DeleteLet's hope we get some books cleared out on the old TBR. Sounds like a great vacation, lots of reading, can't beat that. I am loving that new cover for Weird Girls.
ReplyDeleteI really need book 1!
DeleteAnd a vacation is great for that, I crammed in a LOT during the xmas holidays too

ReplyDeleteI hope it will be :) thanks!
DeleteI need 4 days of reading to catch up. You got heaps read, sounds very relaxing!
ReplyDeleteThat it was. Sure I got Easter in a month but not as long ;)
DeleteI do love the covers-but I think that A Cursed Embraced wins!
ReplyDeleteWell..drat I commented on the wrong post. :sigh: 4 days of reading sounds great-it's just too bad it was because of bad weather.
ReplyDeleteOh the weather was bad but that was not the cause. It was cos my job place was closed and I did not want to go work at another place, so I only worked there one day and took vacation days
DeleteI'm joining in on the TBR Challenge too! I really need to knock a few books off my own shelves :) Good luck getting through a bunch of your own books as well!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! The challenge should go on all year, maybe then I'd manage ;)
DeleteIsn't it lovely to take a vacation and just read? I wish I could do that more often. Love that cover for A Cursed Embrace, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt sure was lovely :D It would have been ever better if I had had to work that one day ;)
DeleteI just started a 4 day weekend myself. Needed the break form work. Hoping to catch up on blogging and reviewing. Hope the snow has melted :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow is still here, we got more this week.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend :D
