TMST Fall Reading

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.

September 18th: What do you love about Fall reading?

I do not really think of Fall reading as anything special. In December I try to put in an xmas book or a winter book, and in summer I might be drawn to something with summer. But Fall does nothing for me.

Or because we can stay inside during long dark evenings? Well honestly no season makes me read more, I always read whenever I get a chance.

Or cos in Fall you can read horror? Eh, I can do that anytime.

Poor Fall.

  1. I don't think my reading changes for any season.

But I tend to lean more towards spooky books in the fall. I already have a few I want to read!

  4. Cute picture.

I know a lot of people read more paranormal or horror during Fall but I read paranormals all year round.

  6. True, I read anything I want anytime. But even though I never really wait around for a theme, I feel there is something really fun about reading creepy books around Halloween time :)

  7. I can be that way about spring and summer (mostly), but fall, I do gravitate toward the mysteries and I do have to do a stack of winter holiday ones once November rolls around. So, I guess I can be classified as a seasonal reader. Ultimately though, I just like to read or listen to books, period. :)

    Fun picture!

    1. I would like seasonal reads more if not so many xmas books came out in Sep! And then they are review books and should be read in Sep

  8. I like being able to read outside when it gets cooler.
In general, I'm not a seasonal reader but it does get difficult for me to want to do much anything when it's a hot summer.

  10. I definitely read less in the summer because I'm busy with family, outside in the sun, etc. So I guess Fall is nice because I can cuddle with a cup of tea and the kitties while reading and not feel like I should be outside!
