11/4/2025 Where do you purchase the majority of your books?
Not the bookstore, sorry, but like no. We have a to some tiny bookstore, at least when it comes to English books. So if they have something it is usually not something that I want. Of course I do not really visit town either except for a few times a year ;)
I order mostly online from this Nordic bookstore. They usually have what I want. And if not, well then I just can not get that book.

Being international readers sucks when you want books from the US (or even the UK). I use these two Italian sites that provide books in English, where I usually can get what I want.

DeleteDo you usually read English books? Is that because most publishers don't publish translated versions?
ReplyDeleteI only read in English. Some do get translated, but obvi not all and like fiction comes first so better do it in English
DeleteI don't have a good bookstore near me, so I buy most of my books from Amazon. I wish I had a good local bookstore!!

DeleteSad to admit this, either Amazon or Barnes & Noble. The one independent bookstore left a bad taste in my mouth a few years ago, which I chalk up to a misunderstanding, but I'll still not go back.
