  3. Awesome giveaway and both happen to be on my wishlist!

  4. I like using rafflecopter because you don't have to provide links for proof as much. However I've never been on the host's end so I'm interested to see how you like it.

    1. I did mess up when I made one of the extra things. ..my bad, it was my first time. And it took much longer..but, it does pick a winner for me so that is good. Still it takes much longer and I am very lazy. And I as I most often have interviews I do want people to comment and not just enter

  5. I like rafflecopter better because random.org is built in to the widget so when you select the winner, it has an option to "announce" the names. Contestants won't be able to refute the results and claim I rigged it or something.

    1. I do like that. Before blogger changed something I had numbers for comments but now I have to count until I get the winner and that sucks

  6. I like rafflecopter. It makes everything much simpler.

    1. That it does, I am just so lazy and it took time, but then I did make many ways to enter so that was why

  7. Rafflecopter is ok, but i kind of have a love/hate relataionship with it. It's great when it works, but when it doesn't it drives you crazy.

    1. I feel the same right now, love and hate it, and I can't say I would like to use it for author interviews cos it's so easy not to comment

  8. I'm not entering but just wanted to say Oooo pretties! I love her covers!

Have you tried GiveawayTools? I like them more than Rafflecopter. More options and they verify people do what they say they do which is pretty handy.

    1. I first now found the place where I can check that people have done what they said...cool. So yes in that way it works but I should check out your site too

  9. I still think this kind of contest is meaningless. It is so very easy to cancel your pre-order again.

Good luck with your first rafflecopter!

  10. I do like rafflecopter. But... I will enter other giveaways too. Whatever is easier for you works for me!

    1. I think I found you on Facebook. The Facebook link to you didn't come up for me in the rafflecopter. :-)))

    2. Yeah a few things went wrong, I am not very good at this rafflecopter thing ;)

    3. LOL! I didn't know if it could be added. But...It's ok! It becomes a little scavenger hunt (exciting!) Congrats on your 1st rafflecopter!

    4. It was pretty messy filling it all in, so I can't say this was a success, sure it's easy with the winner but it takes so much longer making the contest

  11. Rafflecopter is ok - there are several options out there - each has pluses & minuses - whatever works for the blogger

    1. I do prefer the old fashioned way, sure I hate to count all the entries but that does not take too long

  12. I like Rafflecopter, it's convenient.

  13. Rafflecopter makes giveaways a lot easier. But I also kind of like when real comments are necessary. On so many other blogs the comments people leave for giveaways equate to: "Thanks for the giveaway, enter me!" Not very inventive and makes you feel like they didn't even bother to read the post. And...ugh! My dog just stunk up the room! Have to evacuate!!!

    1. I know, and that is what I fear. For a thing like this it works but on my author posts and giveaways I do wish for more

    2. You seem to have good commentors. I hope they continue to do so for your author posts :)

    3. I just do not know, rafflecopter took so long to set up

  14. This sounds awesome, thanks for the giveaway! :-)

  15. It's OK but sometimes they are carried away with the amount of entries you have to optionally complete.

    1. That I know, I tried this just now, but honestly, I would just stick with one thing to do

  16. I like it because it makes the giveaways easier.

  17. They're ok, but I like the ones where you enter your name, address, email, phone(optional). The rafflecopters when I first started to them put a lot of mail in my email. You have so many likes on Facebook, following on Twitter, follow with emails, blogs, etc. I guess I'm old school, like it the easiest way.

  18. I do like rafflecopter but I would like them more if they showed accumulated entries earned for recurring daily entries.
