DeleteNooo, I love Six of Crows! But I didn't think it was slow at all, so I think maybe Bardugo's style is just for me and it maybe didn't work out for you. Sorry to hear it but I hope you find some books you can get through soon!

DeleteI had a couple this week that were 'no can do's, too. Sometimes it's just best to set it down and move on. Huh, don't think I've read one that had lots of name-dropping, but I can see how that would get old.

DeleteI've thought about Six of Crows, but not hard. I'm not a fan of name dropping either. J.R. Ward does it a lot. It became a joke, Get the brands of t-shirts and underwear, but I joked that I couldn't go on because I didn't know what brand of jeans he was wearing. LOL
