Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.

April 16th: Where do you get your review books?

damn it! I forgot! It is 9m and I remembered. S is running from her room and back...sigh.

Ok review books. Sometimes people email, but I do not say yes that often. Mostly I get from publishers when they send out lists. So yes I respond to mass emails. Simple as that.

No more NG since that is so US only now.
Edelweiss is too complicated.

I can not think. She is trying to put a blanket over me now

  2. That is so stupid that Netgalley is only US and yes I think Edelweiss is too confusing too.

  3. Are most of your audiobooks review listening copies from publishers as well?

  4. I stopped reviewing books many years ago, but back then, I mostly received them from authors, publishers and other review sites. They came fast and steady, and it got to the point that it was hard to keep up with that and my own reading. Now I strictly interview authors. Hugs...RO

  5. I take far fewer review books these days, but my sources haven't changed. I don't get many new author/assistant emails these days which is good b/c I have to say no just to stay on top of the ones I do take. I've added some audio review sources, though.
Bummer about NG restricting their international offerings b/c they are easy to work with for reviews.

    1. I tend to get a lot of those, but frankly, I delete them at once. Sorry but I can not answer all with a no

  7. Sucks that Netgalley restricts to US now because they're easy to use. Edelweiss is a confusing mess, IMO, but there are books there that I can't get on NG, like Harper. I pick off publisher offerings, too, but I don't get audiobook offers. Those are all library or purchases.

S is getting a little Sassy, lol! :)

  8. I get a few from NetGalley, but very few. Mostly from publishers, though some authors and narrators provide copies. I've never tried Edelweiss. What little I've seen looks complicated.
