TMST

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.

March 31st: - Are you an impulsive book buyer? (Courtesy of Roberta@ Offbeat YA)

Absolutely not!

I sit on my wishlist, to buy list for years. I consider, re-consider, I take one away, I put it back. I read reviews. It gets put lower on the list as books that needs to be bought first gets precedent. I recently got a book I have wanted since 2012!

I am a slow thoughtful buyer, though sometimes I do make quick decisions, but I never impulse buy

  1. I'm not an impulsive book buyer, either. I'm picky about accepting or requesting books, too. I don't want to read duds.

  5. Wow you are so good - I am more impulsive and sometimes very regretful. If in doubt the library! When its operating.

  6. I used to be, but ever since blogging, that impulse left me real quick. There are so many books on my TBR now, I need to be more picky these days.

  7. I'm the same way. Unless its at a used book store for cheap! Then might as well grab it.

  8. I don't do it often, but it is generally for a book that is really low-priced and I've already read up on it through someone's review or the blurb.

  9. I have a little book buying problem. I want them all and if a book is on sale and sounds good, I buy it :)
