How has your reading changed since the pandemic started?

It hasn't. My life is honestly not that much different then it was prepandemic. I still have to go to work, S has daycare. Life just kept on rolling. For many it changed, but here not so much (except for you know not going to fun things for S and etc but that had nothing to do with reading anyway.)

So I read the same books, I listen at the same speed. Yup, nothing has changed at all. Except for me picking up this book I wanted to read and there was a pandemic there and I say F no! I do prefer some happiness these days

Feb 16 Share some of your favorite romantic stories/books.

Feb 23 What books are you looking forward to reading in Spring 2021 (March - May)?

  1. Mine hasn't changed much either. Mind you, I was off for three months during the first shutdown, otherwise, same old same old.

  2. yeah my reading hasn't changed either just my life with no fun things anymore, no spending time with family and friends, no going out to eat, only shopping when absolutely necessary and my UPS and FED Ex drivers hating me for all the deliveries LOL.

  3. My reading and life haven't really changed, either. I still have to go to work. Traffic is a little better, but I don't get to go out to my favorite restaurants when they're in constant lockdown. They just opened to outdoor dining again, but it's been cold...

    1. I have never been much for going out to eat, and now, no, but I do like that many have begun home deliveries

  4. Glad you've been able to keep up. I totally agree about the subject matter, although now that we've been in it a while, I could maybe do a SFF with a pandemic, but nothing to real.

  5. I have zero attention span. it started after Fonzi but the pandemic made it worse. And my tastes changed so much. I can't handle anything too deep but haven't enjoyed anything light either.

    😂

No changes for me either. I rarely go out as it is because of my husband's health problems, so my routine stayed pretty much the same, except for the 4 months when I was on wages guarantee fund - but then again, I used the extra time to do some housekeeping and to blog more, while I read the same amount. When I read, the world outside doesn't exist...so, I forget the pandemic...

  9. I've probably read a little less. And also I'm almost all audiobook now. So much harder to get time to read when the kids are doing home schooling :\

  11. I slowed down last year for several months in my reading and couldn't seem to get in the mood for several types of books, but that's about it.

  13. That's awesome that you're day-to-day hasn't been as drastically impacted as it has so many of us. I do think I've started to really settle into this version of life though (scary thought, though. I'd prefer this not become normal).

    1. New normal no thanks, I do miss going to stores just to browse. To take my kid with me. To meet with friends. But at the same time, I am happy at home
