8/17/2021 Do you ever buy physical copies of your NetGalley/Edelweiss approvals?

First, how does one even get approved for Edelweiss?! And they are SO confusing.

Haha, Netgalley, When they stopped approving us overseas I stopped requesting. I am sure one can get something, but I wanted the good ones!

And to the point, obvi if it is an amazing book. Cos else I would be broke.

8/24/2021 Do you have any pets? Tell us about them (past or present)

8/31/2021 What books are you looking forward to reading in Fall 2021? (September-November)

  1. I don't reread, so I would never buy a book I already read. I also don't buy a lot of books. Approvals and library borrows are my sources for the most part.

  2. Yes, if it's an amazing book. And I agree, Edelweiss is awful. Netgalley doesn't approve e-copies for you? That sucks!

  3. I do not understand Edelweiss and don't bother lol

I rarely buy books at all anymore. I've been sticking with the library or the books I already have. If I do buy it's most likely an ebook.

  6. Somehow I got a preapproval of a publisher on Edelweiss like years ago, so I can use it for that publisher. It's too bad that NG won't allow non-US based reviews.

  7. I'm another Edelweiss confused person. LOL Most books I review I don't plan to re-read, but there are a very few that I wouldn't mind having a copy of if it were on sale.

  8. I've been approved for Edelweiss once. That site is so confusing. But no, I don't buy my own copies of ARC's that I get for a review. I have no room in my apartment for more books.
