TMST

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post where bloggers discuss a wide range of topics from books and blogging to life in general. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog. Feel free to leave your links in the comments if you are participating.

4/26/2022 Do you still own any books/comics/toys/memorabilia from when you were a kid?

Books, well sure, but at my parents.  My kid reads them there.

Comics, I am sure there are some, dunno really. My mum kept everything.

Toys, like I said, my mum keeps everything. My kid plays with my old barbies at my parents

Memorabilia, I have tried to throw some things away, cos srsly, one can't keep it all. But ha, it is also still at my parents.

5/3/2022 How do you feel when everyone loves a book except for you?

5/10/2022 What are the books/authors you pick up when you need a comfy read?

5/17/2022 How long have you been blogging? And has your blog changed over time?

5/24/2022 Do you review every book you read? Why or why not?

5/31/2022 Do you request ARCs? Why or why not?

  1. I own a couple of books from when I was a little kid. And then one book from when I was a teen called Hobgoblin.

  2. My mom shipped me some of my old stuff to get it out of her house. Nice that your little gal can play with your old toys. :)

  3. I have a little of each with me. Some I've donated...some mom have, but I do have some of the special stuff.

  4. My mom does keep stuff but I feel like anything that is still at her house is hers at this point. I don't have a lot of stuff from my childhood.

  5. WHOA! The comment part is all different...
Anyhow, my parents moved about 16 years ago and so I had to take all of my stuff or it got tossed. I think I have a couple bins in the basement with my old stuffed animals and such, but my kids will probably find it when I die. LOL

    1. S has taken home a lot of my old stuffed animals. But yes still some there, I'd probably just toss them all

  6. I don't have anything books from when I was a little kid. We have pictures, but my mom never saved anything else. Not that I had a lot. I think we mostly borrowed from the library. We didn't have a lot of money growing up.

  7. I actually do own some stuff my parents have given back to me - lots of old comics and toys I've collected. Of course now I'm in the process of trying to declutter and sell things off :)

  8. You don't get attached to old stuff, do you? 😉 I probably would, if it didn't remind me of happier times, or at least, times full of possibilities that never played out...

    1. Hehe, yeah no. Does it bring me joy? Do I look at it? or is it just somewhere, then I do not need it

  9. LOL so your parents keep everything! My mom would have if she could have I'm certain - she's a definite hoarder. But she had to move and downsize multiple times so there's nothing left. How cool that your kids play with your old toys though!
