Good first week of #fitreaders :) Even if I did push myself cos all that lovely snow you will see soon, well that rained away from Tuesday and onward and turned everything to ice. Not a big fan of walking on ice, but oh well, I live in the north. A few falls here and there are expected.
Btw, if you want to friend me on fitbit here I am
*waves hi to all new #fitreaders*
Whoa! You're in (or were in) a winter wonderland!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics.
Karen @ For What It's Worth
Sigh, yes the good days
DeleteIf you walk in that, I give you two thumbs up. Very pretty, but looks slippery too.
ReplyDeleteOh that was when it was good, just blank snow. Now it's ice, with sand on, if you are lucky
DeleteWhat lovely pictures!!! Where in the north are you? I'm in NY and we are getting snow today. Looks like you had a great week, though. Do you walk outside everyday or do you walk on a treadmill?
ReplyDeletePS - I just friended you on Fitbit!
I live in Finland :) So.north north ;)
DeleteAlways outside. In rain, come snow, come COLD.
Skiing! SO MUCH FUN! I've never done that or ice skating (even tho I too live in a winterwonderland - today it snowed for the first time since November)
ReplyDeletenever!? And no ice-skating either? Omg. I could not escape it, we did it even during gym at school
DeleteOur snow arrived this morning so it will be inside walking for me! Your pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYay for snow :)
DeleteOh so pretty. Our new phones track our steps. .but I have to remember to keep my phone on me..lol
ReplyDeleteThat would be worse for me, I never have my phone near, lol
DeleteHi back!
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful place but I have to admit I'd probably freeze to death because I don't even like it when it's 70 degrees in my house! Yeah, I live in the South (;
Great that you are keeping active in the cold weather.
LOL! Colder than -13 F and I would not go outside, but I'd still try a short walk at that. Even if I wished it would be like -4 which is still cold
DeleteOh wow your commitment to walking out in weather like that is amazing. I am going to remember it every time I wimp out when my winter comes round because we never get snow and ice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link up on fitbit, after awhile it gets easier to remember to put it on!
Since this is Finland we can have 6 months of snow if it's bad so, well I learned to live with it ;) That is why I bike to work too even if the roads are all ice. Luckily I go in quite late so they have been out to sand to roads alread
DeleteSuch gorgeous photos! I don't walk in the winter, I hibernate.
ReplyDeleteI love walking in the winter, I get great pics...well sometimes. Not so good now when we have like 4 hours of sunlight if it's sunny
DeleteSounds like you are off to a great start! I just finished day 3 of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. Wondering if it will EVER feel easier :) keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI wish it would feel easier
DeleteBeautiful pictures! Awesome job getting out there no matter what the weather sends your way. :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
Thank you :D
DeleteSNOW! We don't get snow here in Australia so I am forever jealous heh. Anyway, I love your commitment! I haven't been outdoors in like 3 days now, so I should probably go out tomorrow for a run.
ReplyDeleteNot much choice really, I live in the land of snow and ice, and not much daylight in winter
DeleteYou get a lot of snow too?? Then you understand how I feel every day I wake up for school. ;_; Beautiful pictures though!!
ReplyDeleteIt does snow here, for months :)I particulary despise the strange may snow
Deletethe snow is beautiful! It's too warm here. We have 17°C today, it's really weird.
ReplyDelete0_0 that is SUMMER!
DeleteYou must have great shoes to be able to walk on ice. Be safe! I'll send a fitbit request :)
ReplyDeleteI bought better ones today..but, they were awesome but hurt my foot so darn
DeleteGood for you getting out there and walking. I need to get back into these habits!
ReplyDeleteJoin in :)
DeleteThose pictures are so beautiful! You did well getting out there in that weather!
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
DeleteHey yo, just came to wish a haaaapppy new year and saw that wonderland and ohmigod I would never wish for the summer. (I totally would; my feet kill me in winters by freezing regardless of the layers I make them wear.)
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!!! :)
DeleteI do love it, BUT, I do not like when it melts, arghh, hate that
beautiful pics!
ReplyDeletethanks :)
DeleteGorgeous pictures. Be careful walking on that ice!!
ReplyDeleteI will!
DeleteI admire your motivation to walk in that wintry weather! Beautiful pics- you are off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteThank you! i try :)
DeleteGreat job! And that's A LOT more snow than you had last week, wow!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Haha, yes and then there was none, and then it snowed a tiny bit again
DeleteLove the photos!! Ice is no fun to walk on. I did a small slip today - no fall - but it scared me!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI bought better shoes for the ice, but damn, they gave me blisters
beautiful photos, can't think which is tougher, exercising with ice and snow or in our scorching heat and humidity. You seriously rock with the exercise!!
ReplyDeletei say the heat! I could not do it. When it was hot here we went out at 11 PM
DeleteWow I know that is slippery and not exactly workout friendly, but it sure is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat was when it was good, it got worse
DeleteGreat week for you and some pretty pics (although that's the sort of weather that makes me want to stay INSIDE!). Way to go!
ReplyDeleteDebbie @ CK2S Kwips and Kritiques
