Ok fine I give up. I did not like book 1, and book 2 did not work either. It was just SO boring.
Also I saw some reviews that dissed it cos they said it was "corn". LOL. Omg did we read the same book? Yes there were a few awkward scenes, very dull.
I really do not know why these do not work. The people are just boring, the story boring. I mean she thinks 30 means death! Almost. And she must do something fun before. She is also totally embarrassed because a costumer sees her holding/reading a pirate book and she is all I do not read smut! Omg, *eyeroll*. Grow up.

When a secret message turns up hidden in a book in the Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, Hazel can't understand it. As more secret codes appear between the pages, she decides to follow the trail of clues… she just needs someone to help her out.

DeleteSo one of our Barnes & Nobles had these books on one of their tables, and I remember thinking the covers are ridiculously boring. Glad I was right.n

Delete30 is almost death? I must be like the Crypt Keeper here! What does "corn" mean? I've seen this one all over the place, too. 384 pages is way too long if it's boring. I'll pass on this one, too!

DeleteSometimes these cosy looking books are boring! I have been avoiding this series because I was so burnt by another of similar ilk.
