Evidence from that 5k ;) It was so "funny", we were jumping over streams in the darkness and then around the woods, boom, that damn tractor road, sigh. Would have been easier and faster..
I also took an hour walk with Luci at my parents today, but well how long was it really? But then he was damn fast and dragging me along and me going through the snow (do English have a word for the hard snow that forms that you can walk on?) So I do not count it ;)
I've been saying how I'm going to join Fit Readers every week, but i never do. Well, I'm finally doing it! You got me motivated. :)
ReplyDeleteHihi YAY, I am so glad that you will join
DeleteYea!! So glad you will be joining us! #FitReaders
DeleteIce? If it's rain that turned into ice then it's Black Ice. Good thing you didn't slip or hurt yourself chasing after your babies :)
ReplyDeleteNo, snow, hard snow, under it loose snow. If it's really hard you can even walk on it. I know the Inuits have a word for it, since it's perfect making igloo snow
DeleteHe's so cute with his little harness!
ReplyDeleteUsually he just walks with my mum there, but with me, he just dragged me over big rocks, under trees, well he knows I wont say no
DeleteNot sure about the hard snow word. Where I live, we don't get that sort of snow. Funny about finding the road after you were well into your walk. :)
ReplyDeleteThere might just not be a word for it, we do have lots of words for different types of snow
DeleteI call it crusty snow :) Nice job on the exercise!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good word since it makes that sound
DeleteI love all your pictures...you always have such lovely shots! And I love the leash on the cat :) Looks like you had a great week!!! Congrats on getting a 5K in...I got one in this week, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
DeleteHihi, he did not even notice it
Your posts always make me want to join Fit Readers...I will eventually. LOL
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a word for hard snow. We're expecting snow tonight but there has to be some mistake since it's the first day of spring here :)
I hope that you do one day :D
DeleteIt can snow here until May so...not expecting Spring anytime soon
Great pics!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteYay! You're starting to get some daylight again. Great job on the exercise. I'm still just working out in the house, but I did get out today and start to get my horses ready to start riding again.

Finally! Sun went down around 7 today! So lovely :D
DeleteGood to see some sun in your photos, hopefully things are warming up. What kind of bird is that, a kind of woodpecker? Bird nerd here, lol. And hooray for no DNFs!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
They promise really cold for tomorrow, bleh
DeleteAnd yes you are correct!
Maybe you're getting an early spring this year! Didn't winter last forever last year??
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
HA. No. Last year, well I would not call it a long winter. The snow went in Feb, but the cold stayed on.
DeleteIt snowed more last night ;) No spring
Nice work! I also call that kind of snow "crusty snow" but we don't have it too often here. However... we did have a snow storm over night! eep!
ReplyDeleteNot that often? We have it a lot :)
