TMST

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.

January 8th: What word or phrase you chose to inspire you for 2019?

*insert something witty, and smart. Thought provoking and inspiring.*

*real life: Ehhhh, none?*

I guess I could lie together something, but truth is, I have nothing. I hardly even noticed a new year arrived.

I will leave this one for all you smart ones out there!

  1. I know a lot of people who do choose a word but I've never felt compelled to.

  2. Ha! I have a phrase I found but my hand hurts too much to type lol

I'm not big on resolutions or anything specific though.

  4. I don't get all excited for a new year the way others do. For me it's just another day.

  6. You are not alone. Why rely on one word to inspire you when there are limitless possibilities?

  8. Totally agree with Debbie - you are smart and busy living I am sure! Mine is that simple word Move - and it does sort of work for me, other years no word has really got me going but this one I think will be a good guide.

  9. I don't have a word. Just a feel. I want to be better organized and focused. Hahaha. Sounds good for about two months when life catches up with me. Ugh.

    1. I think...hmmm...I'd like to throw away things that I do not need. Whatever the word is for that

  10. Oh my goodness, I hate these sorts of exercises too because I never really think about stuff like this. Life just goes on and you do the best you do, you know?

  11. I do pick words, but its not something life altering and I don't think it says something bad if someone doesn't choose a word or phrase. It's not like the words are magical. LOL (but wouldn't that be cool...)

I've gone with with 'joy' for the last few years to remind myself to look for the good even when life doesn't seem good.
