Movie: The knight before Christmas

A medieval English knight is magically transported to the present day where he falls for a high school science teacher who is disillusioned by love.

Director: Monika Mitchell
Writer: Cara J. Russell
Stars: Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Whitehouse, Emmanuelle Chriqui

1h 32min | Adventure, Comedy, Drama

It was amusing to watch, but oh my, it was definitely low budget. The 14th century extras looked like Renaissance faire players (which they probably were).

He knew how to drive a car at once.
He never questioned anything, just rolled with everything. As if.

She took him in, a stranger! He could have been a serial killer! And let him stay for days.

You know they wouldn't even have understood each other.

It was watchable

Recommend or not.
For the lols and romance.

  1. As you know I'm a serious Netflix fan, and then they go and add all the Christmas stuff to really hook me, so you already know I watched this too.(lol) I know a lot of it wasn't realistic, but I still loved the fact that she was so kind to take in a stranger to help him put. Very few of us go that route these days, for obvious safety reasons. I was more shocked that she allowed him to actually take her car to go driving, never checking to see if he had a license or anything!(lol) I totally fell in love with the Christmas decorations, and the HEA. Always enjoy when we can chat about the movies. Hugs, RO

    1. My netflix is all xmas now, it's like they think I have a thing or something ;)

Yup sorry strangers, but nope, he could have been crazy.

But the car thing was more shocking

  4. Honestly...why wouldn't she take him to a nut house!!! Especially since she is a science teacher. Maybe a History teacher would know more and be "Okay - you seem legit". But a science teacher would think he was nuts! HOWEVER, I am tempted to watch this with some wine ;) lollll

  8. Cute! I always see stories where our characters go back to the past, so it's nice to see the reverse. And lol, I don't think I'd believe he could drive a car right away either, even learning the traffic rules would probably take him a long time.
