I got this in exchange for an honest review

Oh these two, it is time to take out the slap on the head thing. *slaps both over the head* I need a gif like that *ponders this*

Jessie is living the big city life, but then her dad has a heart attack, and she goes back. She loves the ranch, but it needs to be sold cos her dad can't handle it.
She is having issues with her new stepmum, why I do not know, cos Molly is great! Tsk, Jessie!
She is avoiding her old boyfriend that she left behind and she is upset that he married someone else, Jessie, Jessie! Like he would pine forever.
She believes something even when he tells her the truth (they need to be locked in a room for two days and talk things through) *slap in the head*

Cade is a cowboy, that does say it all. Yes he married an idiot, but he was sad and drunk. He did divorce her sorry behind. She was a piece of work. Poor guy has issues, drunk dad, girlfriend left, married an idiot. Poor Cade.
Though then he does believe something that does not make any sense so he gets a slap on the head for that too.

These two love each other, but they have so much to work through. And they belong together, everyone knows it.

I liked her dad and Molly. They were fun.

I enjoyed it (even if they really needed to be thrown in a room together). It also built something interesting for the next book.

Narrator
I like her style and I really get the feel of living there. She has great female and male voices. I have listened to her before, and I will again. She fits western so well.

Jess Bailey broke Cade Walker's heart when she left for the city - but she was just trying to find her own way in the world. When Jess's dad calls her home and tells her he's selling the ranch, she realizes she's about to lose the life she was born to live. And when she sees Cade again, she knows how much she's lost already.

As their nearest neighbor, Cade is always trying to help. But he's got his own ranch and his horse training business to think about. Even though his heart fills with hope for a second chance when he sees Jess, she left him once when things got tough. And she knows he moved on without her.

As the sale of the Bailey ranch looms over them, Jess and Cade start looking to the future. But can they ever trust one another again?

my thoughts:
Oh Wyatt, can I just tell you all how much I love Wyatt. He was just so sweet and wanted to save everyone and I was all but what about you! You need someone too.
Oh and cowboys! If you had not notice I really like this genre.  I do have to mention that since my last one I did actually see a rodeo on tv! Whaaat? Yes it was on this sports channel, but ok so I can read, but watch it, ha, no.

To the book! Wyatt is a cutie and we learn so much about him.

Melanie used to be a great rodeo roper, but her career took more and more time, and she just stopped doing it. And she loved it. Not to mention riding. Poor Melanie, oh you will see. She had a savior complex too, this regarding her little brother (who made me so mad).

They always argue and now they are stuck together. The best banter makes for heated...talks ;)

I liked how it all happened. There was much talking things through and getting to know each other better. It was just these two working through their issues and falling hard. What is there not to enjoy.

Last thoughts;
Good romance with that ever present rodeo vibe

Narrator Johanna Parker
I like her accent and she really makes me feel like I am there. She has a good range and she is perfect for this.

Audio Review: Tangled in Texas - Kari Lynn Dell

Thirty-two seconds. That's how long it took for Delon Sanchez's life to end. One minute he was the best bronc rider in the Panhandle and the next he was nothing. Knee shattered, future in question, all he can do is pull together the pieces and wonder what cruel trick of fate has thrown him into the path of his ex, the oh-so-perfect Tori Patterson. Tori's come home after her husband's death, intent on escaping the public eye. It's just her luck that Delon limps into her physical therapy office, desperate for help. All hard-packed muscle and dark-eyed temptation, he's never been anything but a bad idea. And yet, seeing him again, Tori can't remember what made her choose foolish pride over love . . . or why, with this second, final chance to right old wrongs, the smartest choice would be to run from this gorgeous rodeo boy as fast as her boots can take her. Contains mature themes.

My thoughts.
Delon and Tori had this thing in College. But she thought he only wanted a good thing, and he thought a princess like her would not want a guy like him. Oh you silly children!

Now Delon's future is at stake after an accident. He has some issues to deal with there cos he wants to ride again but can't. I say that is a good thing, cos that sport sounds way too dangerous for my taste. Stay away from the broncos Delon! Anyway, he was a nice sweet guy.

Tori is the daughter of a senator, but she wanted to go her own way and that way takes her to Delon since he needs psychical therapy. I liked her, even if her story was sad. She was a widow and well it was just sad. But it was good to see her work through it and try to move on.

There is tension, romance, and family. Her family, his family, his extended family, they all have their parts to play (oh and his brother should get a book.)

Conclusion:
I enjoyed the ride.

Narrator Johanna Parker
I liked how she did the voices, she had a nice low voice for the men and it never felt strange. And her women voices were good too. She got the Texas thing right, well at least in my head it sounded good ;) I liked listening to her and that is all I need.

Cover
can I get a hell yeah!
