This was really promising! The cover is just really wrong. I expected something funny and cozy. But what I got felt like UF and I was intrigued.
She is a vamp, she owns a bakery.
Ok so this weird guy that guessed she was a vamp from nothing, ok so that was bad and really silly.
But other than that it was really good.
Way too short though!
I'd read more.
Maggie Edwards can’t sleep, eat, or die—but, she can bake. However, just before the Halloween grand opening of her bakery, a pesky reporter witnesses an accident in her kitchen and gets a little too close to the truth. If she can’t convince him to keep quiet, not only will she lose her chance at happiness, but they both could lose their lives.

No problem jumping right into this with this novella. It worked great. I wanted something short and that I got.
Verity can see ghosts thanks to the ghost that stays with her. They have a case to solve, and so they do.
Good little novella, and it made me curious about her ex and why she is seeing his brother. That sounds like quite the story.
Verity Long doesn't want to see ghosts, and she'd rather not let anyone know her little secret, either. But when a restless spirit stirs up trouble in her friend's resale shop, Verity and her very new, very dead gangster friend team up to learn what is really happening. They discover an age-old secret and must learn the truth behind a mysterious disappearance... before it's too late.

Leigh Epstein is a grief stricken and lonely elementary school teacher that is devastated by the brutal and unexpected death of her true love at the hands of a careless writer. She overcomes her grief by taking matters in her own hands and takes up a little romance writing to resurrect her vampire-werewolf book-boyfriend. Leigh gets more than she bargained for when she discovers that every steamy erotic scene she creates is magically reenacted by her family, friends and coworkers.
In her hilarious first diary, Leigh unwittingly sets her parents up for a weekend dinner party that they will never forget. She has two weeks to find out what her new found magic is capable of. Can she prevent a wild erotic encounter that could devastate her sweet parent’s marriage? What and who else will get caught up in her magic spells?

A bit of brainless fun. Ha, I enjoyed it.
Leigh gets a magical desk and writes hot sex scenes, but then they come true! And everything turns out wrong. Ha, yes it was pretty amusing.
It was a novella, I can roll with that and that is why I chose it. Short is good. I'd read more

Where I Got It: My shelf (Given to me by the author or publisher for my honest and unbiased opinion)
You don’t have to be in love to fight demons. But it helps.
Ever since demons first made their appearance on Earth, the Protectorate has been working hard to send them back to hell. It’s a dirty war between good and evil, and it gets even tougher when a demonic prophet named Hezbah threatens to smash the gates of hades and release every demon inside.
Unfortunately, the only two people who can stop Hezbah aren’t speaking to each other.
Kia Saunders takes her job as a Protectorate agent very seriously. She thought her partner, Levi, did as well. But after Lev’s disregard for the rules almost gets her killed, she questions everything she knows about the demons…and Levi.
Fearless, swaggering Levi Asche is the best Protectorate demon hunter in Detroit. Or at least he was until he made a mistake that cost him his job, his home, and his partner.
Now, as Lev and Kia work together to stop Hezbah, two things remains clear: Hezbah’s powers are greater than anyone guessed. And even when they’re arguing, Kia and Lev have never been better together.
I couldn't resist this book because of the summary and the book cover. Isn't that one badass cover?
The story follows Kia and Lev who are Protectorate agents. Their job is to send the demons back to where they came from. A demon prophet named Hezbah threatens to smash the gates and release all the demons back to Earth.
I really enjoyed this. I was able to get this done in 3 sittings. It took a couple of chapters really to get hooked, but once I was hooked I sped through this. A quick but fun read.
Kia was fun and she kicked butt. I was meh about Lev at first. By the end I did like him...but I am still not the biggest fan of him. I get he does what he does and he gets results, but he breaks too many rules that almost got Kia killed. SMH. Calm down cowboy! lol. But yes, I did like him but I still will keep a close on him in the future.
The baddie was scary! I wasn't sure how everything was going to turn out.
I believe there is a 1st book? I would like to read it if is there. There seemed to be some backstory I felt like I was missing. Overall the book did okay as a standalone but I do feel like I was missing some things though.
I want more of this world though! I want to learn more. It is a fun concept and world. Demons are scary! And I said it already but that baddie was scary but a good baddie!
Now that ending!? SO good. I am itching to see what is next!
Overall, I really liked this book. The cool cover drew me in and then the story had me hooked. There were some references I felt like I missed, but it still worked out. Kia was awesome, but I am still going to keep an eye on that Lev fella. ;). OooooOOo that ending was really good. Curious to see what is next! I'll stamp this with 4 stars.

This one felt dark, but as always Singh does make it great in every way.
First we have Memory, a psy who has been kept prisoner most of her life. She thinks of herself as a victim, and one with dark horrible psy powers. But she is strong and a survivor.
Aleksei has demons of his ones. His brother went rogue, his dad went rogue, will he go rogue? And then he hears the cries of a psy and goes to investigate.
He challenges her, she pushes back. They are both what the other one needs. And they take their time, considering, and it feels so right.
Then there is the darkness, the serial killer who has kept her prisoner and wants her back.
Though there is another plot too, a hidden darkness in the psy world. And when the serial killer story ends there was still almost 2 hours left, which felt strange. The other issues was then resolved too. I guess they had to be there at once so it might expand into the next book or something.
The psynet is failing and I do wonder how the will fix it...which means...I can't wait for more!
Great book, as alays! singh does not disappoint
Narrator
I'd say Dawe's women have very throaty voices, very dark. Not all, but at least the main. But it fits. SHe has a great range and everyone feels distinct. Her female and male voices are great and she brings emotion and need into the story.
She is great to listen at and she brings the story to life. Now when I think of those books I missed, I'd say I would rather listen to those than read
The end of Silence was supposed to create a better world for future generations. But trust is broken, and the alliance between Psy, Changeling, and human is thin. The problems that led to Silence are back in full force. Because Silence fixed nothing, just hid the problems.
This time, the Psy have to find a real answer to their problems—if one exists. Or their race will soon go extinct in a cascade of violence. The answer begins with an empath who is attuned to monsters—and who is going to charm a wolf into loving her despite his own demons.

Where I Got It: My shelf (Audible)
It's taken him eleven centuries to find the right woman. He's not about to lose her now.
Jessi St. James has GOT to get a life. Too many hours studying ancient artifacts has given the archaeology student a bad case of sex on the brain. So she figures she must be dreaming when she spies a gorgeous half-naked man staring out at her from inside the glass of an ancient mirror. But when a split-second decision saves her from a terrifying attempt on her life, Jessi suddenly finds herself confronting six and a half feet of smoldering INSATIABLE alpha male.
Heir to the arcane magic of his Druid ancestors, Cian MacKeltar was trapped inside the Dark Glass eleven centuries ago. And when the Dark Glass is stolen, an ancient enemy will stop at nothing to reclaim it. For Jessi, the sex god in the mirror is not only tantalizingly real, he's offering his protection—from exactly what, Jessi doesn't know. And all he wants in exchange is the exquisite pleasure of sharing her bed....
The story follows Cian who was tricked and trapped inside of the Dark Glass for eleven centuries. Eee gags. Finally, the glass is stolen and pretty much dropped on Jessi's lap. His only hope. Jessi is working herself to the bone to graduate and really has zero life. Well...a whole bunch of life is landed in her lap and she has to help Cian or she might die. Oh dear.
Now, I would for sure read the three before this. There are some major references here that would be a touch confusing. You would be fine after a while, but I can see some head-scratching especially near the end when some old characters come and join the story.
At first, I liked the cover a lot. But then it annoyed me because the girl looks nothing like the main character Jessi. Jessi has short, black hair. This chick on the cover has long and light hair. Grrr.
Now...the story was exciting. I had zero idea of how this was going to end. WELL. I know they were to have an HEA....but HOW and WHEN? It seemed so impossible. I felt so bad for Cian. I can't imagine the hellish existence. Sure he is able to come out of the mirror for little bouts of time IF someone summons him. And sure he can see outside the mirror. But gah! I am surprised the man didn't go insane. Jessi for realz needed a life. I get wanting to graduate and etc...but lord 4 hours a sleep a day and that is on a good day????
The characters were okay. They did get better at the end there, but at first, they were soooo boring and didn't really have a personality. By the end, I adored them. But it was a rough road at first. I especially got SO annoyed with Jessi. WE GET IT! YOU HAVE BIG BOOBS! Stop mentioning it! GAH! *grumbles* And Cian? Be more of a horny monster you big oaf! Yes, yes, I get you haven't done the deed in eleven centuries and you haven't been in polite society in a while. But the first words are you trying to mind control Jessi to take off her top? SMH. Men. Barbaric oaf. BUUUUT like I said...I grew to adore him when he was able to calm down and realize he can't be like that.
ooooOOOoooo that ending was SOOOO good. I am SO curious to see what the Fae Queen has up her sleeves next. ^_^
The narrator was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the sound effects. I loved his accents and voice changes especially when Cian was behind the mirror. So cool. He was neat and I want to listen to more by him.
In the end, I did like this. Cian and Jessi were rough to love at first, but I grew to like them. The narrator was fantastic!!!! Darn that cover though! I wish it actually looked like Jessi. I'll give this 3 stars.

My Thoughts
Honestly, there is only one way to describe this book and that is crazy! It is on a hell of a ride. A roller coaster filled with madness and fun.
Stevie is smart, like crazy smart, could win every Novel prize there is smart. She also suffer from depression and anxiety. And she is really scared of bears. Which makes it hard living among bear shifters. I like Stevie, she feels like a lost puppy (make that kitty) at times. She is fun, strange and when she decides something then that is it.
And she has her eyes on Shen. Ha, omg this guy was awesome. He is a giant panda and he is nice, cos pandas are nice. Calm and loves hanging upside down eating bamboo. Who can blame Stevie for setting her eyes on him! And she is also not afraid oh him, cos hello, panda, the sweetest of bears.
Ok, that sounds normal, well it is not. She has two sisters. They are all crazy. Max keeps trying to capture a stray cat. Charlie bakes all day. Their father is a crook and so is the rest of the family. Max is probably a sociopath. They enjoy getting into fights and gets into a LOT of fights. Stevie has shift into a godzilla like honey badger since she is a hybrid. Someone out there is killing hybrids. Stevie is on the case. More ass kicking. More craziness. *deep breath* It never ends, craziness ahoy!
I did like book 1 more, because even though this one was funny, it felt at times, maybe she was trying too hard to always be funny. But hey, it still works for me.
Final thought
I love the absurdness of it all!
Narration
She has her work cut out for her. Non stop craziness and people beating the shit out of each other. But she did great and kept up the tempo and still, most importantly, made these characters fun and likable.
The voices for men and women worked well and they had their own distinct voices. This really is one for audio so you can breath in all the craziness
Blurb:
Petite, kind, brilliant, and young, Stevie is nothing like the usual women bodyguard Shen Li is interested in. Even more surprising, the youngest of the lethal, ball-busting, and beautiful MacKilligan sisters is terrified of bears. But she’s not terrified of pandas. She loves pandas.
Which means that whether Shen wants her to or not, she simply won’t stop cuddling him. He isn’t some stuffed Giant Panda, ya know! He is a Giant Panda shifter. He deserves respect and personal space. Something that little hybrid is completely ignoring.
But Stevie has a way of finding trouble. Like going undercover to take down a scientist experimenting on other shifters. For what, Shen doesn’t want to know, but they’d better find out. And fast. Stevie might be the least violent of the honey badger sisters, but she’s the most dangerous to Shen’s peace of mind. Because she has absolutely no idea how much trouble they’re in . . . or just how damn adorable she is.

Urban fantasy paranormal romance

My Thoughts
The fun was there, but at the same time, I did not like how it ended. It was all building up to a Beep book set in the future, with I guess lots of dead people as ghosts helping her in the war. This book ended in a cliffie that way and that is a horrible way for a series to end.
THe apocalypse is happening. Charley return to her gang to help save the world, for this time. There are "zombies", lots of death regarding people you like. Revelations, and she even has time to solve a a crime of a missing girl. Which, considering was really strange. Focus on the big bad.
But the whole book was at the same time a build up for a future Beep book as nothing is solved
And I just can not like Osh, I find it creepy. It was one thing with Reyes, but Beep is a baby in these books.
So do not expect a neat ending. The big battle is still to come. But I enjoyed it for old times sake.
Synopsis
Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plain for eternity – which is the appropriate amount of time to make a person starkraving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.
She’s missed Reyes and her daughter, Beep, but now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious novel.

My thoughts
I liked the book, and then it ended, and I realised how much I liked it. It was strange, but it hit me after it was done what a great book this was. What an amazing world she creates and how it resonates with me.
Elijah may be an alpha. He may be great with women. But he is dying, well his soul is slowly rotting away. He goes through the emotions and at the end I am aching for him. All he wants is to run free and be the wolf he is. But he has to be this amazing lawyer, boss and stay in a city that is killing him. He hates it. He hates it all. How can you not feel for the guy. Just let him come home! And not just for a few days each month.
This is what I like about these books. They are not shifters. You know the drill, those mega alpha ones that are roar! Hear me! And then walk around being happy humans. No, Elijah is a wolf. His soul is a wolf. His kind spend their first years as wolves. They are awkward and even though they have a teacher to teach them to be humans, they make mistakes. Because they are not humans. They are more like wolves who can change into humans. But they are truly themselves when they are wolves and it shows with everything. Their mindset and how they interact. Even when human. An alpha does not have to be all roar! He will take someone down with his eyes alone..submit. And it is the world that always pulls me in.
So we have a guy who wants to be wolf again, after 30 years in this horrid city that smells of iron, carrion and dead things.
In comes the woman who might just save him.. but stop, I would still not call this pnr. It is so much more. Yes there is the relationship that is to be built, but more so is the whole tone and feel of the book. It is not a romance to me. It's about a wolf finding solace.
Thea was, omg it broke me at one point how calm and understanding she was. Dang! But yes she is this calm woman who lives alone in the middle of nowhere and prefer it so. She is the aloof one, he is the one that finds he needs more. And it emerges slowly. Some are meant to be. They can be quiet together.
Of course a human can never be with a wolf....
And there are still those pesky shifters that wants to kill the wolves....
Conclusion:
Omg, those last 2 hours. It tore at me. And it made it a great book. The world is worth it all.
Narration
It was my first time listening Roger Wayne, but he did an amazing job bringing Elijah to life. I really felt the despair of this sad wolf.
Blurb:
Thea Villalobos has long since given up trying to be what others expect of her. So in Elijah Sorensson she can see through the man of the world to a man who is passionate to the point of heartbreak. But something inside him is dying...
Elijah Sorensson has all kinds of outward success: bespoke suits, designer New York City apartment, women clamoring for his attention. Except Elijah despises the human life he's forced to endure. He's Alpha of his generation of the Great North Pack, and the wolf inside him will no longer be restrained...
She sizes me up quickly with eyes the color of ironwood and just as unyielding.
"Thea Villalobos," she says, and it takes me a moment to get my breath back.
Thea Villalobos. Goddess of the City of Wolves.

My thoughts:
Aaaaaaargh, Baby S deleted my review. SIGH. I so do not want to write this again. I am already two days behind on writing it.
What else to do then to write it again. Now 3 days late.
I did not like Hugh at first, but then something changed. I liked him even though he was evil. Aint that always the story.
Here he is messed up cos Roland dumped him. Until his people tell him to shape up and save them. So he tries.
I liked that we got a bit of his backstory and understood why he is all Roland is my god! And get to see that there is still light in there.
Elara was pretty cold as Hugh said. I get that she has a lot of responsibilities, protecting her people, living in their castle, hiding from baddies. So it took a while to warm up to her, if I ever did, but I get why she and Hugh fit together. I can not tell you, cos spoiler. But she has another side to her.
She hires him. He goes fighting. There are baddies. They argue. The end.
I do like Hugh ;)
Nice story, Even if not as good as Kate, but then neither of the sidestories has been to me

My thoughts:
I want to re-read aka listen to the changeling series. This new series makes me miss that series *sigh* Miiiiss it! Also I kind of jumped around and never finished it. I love all the cameos. I miss it.
Here we meet Bowen Knight, leader of the Alliance and right now in a coma. He also has a chip in his brain that keeps him save from Psy, but the chip will also kill him in a few weeks. He might be the one that saves others, if he lets them play with his brain. Oh and Bowen is a great guy and is all up to be a guinea pig. He loves his people and even though he is all tough, he is still so soft and likable.
Kaia is a water changeling (it takes forever for us to find ut which one, but I guessed right ;) She lives far far in the dark on a hidden station. And she is awesome. She loves deeply; her friends, her acquaintances, her people. She deserves to be loved back.
Most of the book takes place on this underwater station and I liked seeing them falling in love even if time is not on their side. They were so easy to like. And everyone on the station were just awesome. Like the Bibi and Carlotta! Ha, those two were funny. I really enjoyed the cast and I kept wondering if anyone we meet is the next couple for the book. (I am thinking Cassius and a Psy we have not met ;)
There is someone who makes a cameo, and I have not read that particular book, but I am all must listen to it!
Conclusion:
Good book. Romance, suspense and one amazing world
Narrator Angela Dawe
I can still her Kaia voice in my head, awww, good times. I like how she played everyone. She made me feel part of the changeling family

I honestly do not know if some of those previous ones deserved my ratings, I mean that filler book was so dull. And I have to face the truth here.
Nothing happens.
It was rather dull.
Not even sexy Reyes wowed me.
The books are stagnating.
The truth is I am glad the next will be the last. I fear I have felt like this at times during the last few books, but this was the first where I felt it all way through.
It was sadly only ok.

Title: Her Perfect Mate (X-Ops #1)

Where I Got It: My shelf (Amazon Freebie)
Their attraction is more dangerous than any weapon of mass destruction
When Special Forces Captain Landon Donovan is chosen for an assignment with the Department of Covert Operations, he's stunned to find his new partner is a beautiful woman who looks like she couldn't hurt a fly, much less take down a terrorist.
Ivy Halliwell isn't your average covert op. Her feline DNA means she can literally bring out the claws when things get dicey. She isn't thrilled to be paired with yet another military grunt, but Landon is different. He doesn't think she's a freak-and he's smokin' hot. Soon they're facing a threat even greater than anyone imagines... and an animal magnetism impossible to ignore.
Uggghhhh I wanted to like this. I did. I swear I did. But nooooooppppe.
It started off alright. Nothing to write home to mom about. The two characters come together because she needs a partner and I guess he got a promotion. The government, in this world, has a special division with people who are shifters, of sorts, and they do not trust two shifters to be partners (god knows why), so they are paired with a human (god knows why). Poor girl has had some shitty partners in the past, so she is wary of this new hunk. He is in insta-lust the moment he sees her, but he respects her since she is his partner.
But yes, started out okay. I was curious and then *yawn*. I wanted it to end. I kept going though...because I am insane. I got about 75% done and I could not do it. She annoyed me and he annoyed me. The whole world annoyed me. Nothing really made sense. What finished me off was the one mission near the end. Something happens and I just turned off my kindle and never went back. Can't say what, but I was annoyed. Also, another scene between her, him, and a male shifter who is in love with her annoyed me too. He should be fired. They should be fired. FIRE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the end, this was a DNF. Nearly made it to the end, but two scenes annoyed me. Not for me sadly. Maybe for someone else.

Audio. Hot and Badgered - Shelly Laurenston
It’s not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn’s hotel balcony. Definitely they don’t usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she’s gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she’s a honey badger shifter, it’s too late.
Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won’t even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she’s not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He’s trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He’s cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up . . .

My thoughts:
These women were insane...ly funny! Honestly this book did not have a dull moment. After a rocky start it took off and never slowed down.
Charlie worries all the time. Her father is an effing idiot. Her sister is a genius and her other sister a sociopath. The rest of the family is a mess too. And it seems that honey badgers are the shifty shifters of the shifter world.
And so she meets Berg. Oh he was a calm mountain. I loved Bear street, they were all these hunky calm enclave of bears who ate honey and chilled. Oh and they were totally fierce if needed.
But then the sisters show up, dang, they are messy. They are trouble. There is always chaos and they are always cool, crazy and insane.
Charlie and Berg were perfect. He is so calm and she totally needs to chill.
How on earth her sisters will find love I do not know, I can not see it, nope, she sure has her work cut out for her there.
I guess this is pnr, but it was low on the romance and I liked that. The crazy was at the front here and love came at the end.
Debating what to rate this on GR. But it was just so crazy fun and for that it needs to be stamped with great!
Conclusion:
You will not be bored and you will run screaming from these sisters while you laugh.

Audio: The Shadows of Stormclyffe Hall - Lauren Smith
To defeat a dark evil, they must face his family’s past…
Bastian Carlisle, the Earl of Weymouth, doesn’t believe in ghosts. Even though tragedy and mysterious hauntings have driven his family away from his ancestral home, Stormclyffe Hall, he is determined to restore the castle to its former glory. His plans are disrupted when a stubborn American shows up on his doorstep hoping to pry into his family’s tragic history.
Jane Seyton, an American graduate student, is convinced there’s more to the tragedy of Stormclyffe Hall than history claims. Ever the scholar, she is determined to discover the truth, even if it means putting up with the arrogant, yet sexy, Bastian.
Although Bastian wants nothing to do with the pushy American, it soon becomes clear that something evil is in the house—and that something is targeting both Jane and Bastian. The two must join forces to purge the ghosts of Stormclyffe Hall once and for all—even as they try to fight a physical attraction between them that grows more and more impossible to deny.

Dark Seductions #1
Paranormal romance
For review
My thoughts:
This was one of those I just know I would have dnfed if I had read it. But the magic with a good narrator is that it gets better. Still, there were plothole kind of things and more. This one really scraped by thanks to the lovely Victoria Aston.
Bastian is a cursed Earl. And he does not believe in ghosts or any such nonsense....but in every generation, mothers, fathers, or kids die violently...right. Silly. Instead he is a his castle and wanting to rebuild it. Even though everyone keeps saying the place is cursed. I would have sold it.
Jane is writing about Stormclyffe and comes to see it. Why it took her 6 years I do not know. I mean if she loved it that much. And he is all no, do not come here, like her dissertation would make all the papers and ghost hunters would descend on him. Lol, do not be silly, no one is gonna care.
They meet and there are sparks! But alas, all women who love the Earls die!
Also
spoiler: why the witch just did not possess someone to get her Earl I do not know
And he was all I will seduce her and she will be happy to leave. Omg just tell her that she can not look at the castle or you will call the cops.
It was a rather silly tale to be honest.

Victoria Aston
She did a good job and kept me listening. All thanks to her.

The Legend of All Wolves #1
Paranormal romance / UF
In exchange for an honest review
My thoughts:
I really have fallen in love with audio and that is why I wanted to give pnr another go, though I feel this was more UF in this. It was just, dunno, darker.
Silver is the runt of the pack. At the bottom, hopping around on 3 legs, and no mate. She was also more wolf than human. She did not like to be in skin, and it did make it a bit funny at times when she tried. She was nice and she was a wolf.
Tiberius shows up and asks for mercy and she is the only one that can save him. Because then she might earn a real place. But he is a shapeshifter, and they are bad. They always turn on wolves and kill them. But he really seems to want to work for it. And I liked seeing him trying to be a wolf cos here it was he who was bad at it.
He must learn to be a wolf so that the pack will accept him. There are troubles outside the gates. And Silver must think of her own future if they fail being accepted as a couple. So there is passion (obviously), danger and so many wolves.
I really liked how wolfish these people were. In other books they might be wolves but here they really were wolves. Pack was pack. Pack raises pups, pups runs around as wolves. Everything from mating (with a big M), to eating. Really wolfish. It made it different.
Conclusion:
I enjoyed it. I wonder if the next one is about them also, or another couple.
