February 13th: Romance Recommendations

It is Valentine's Day tomorrow and I am gonna bake muffins (schhh do not tell SO). The flower he gave me last year is STILL alive. Trust me, this is a big thing, I also do not think it was meant to survive that like. It has tripled in size and is now only leaves. Such a weird one.

Right, romance! There is so much! And my memory sucks. Look at Gr? Nah, silly idea, there are so many categories. Ohh, keeper shelves!

All of these are authors I have read several books from and that is why I recommend them. Sorry awesome books I have just read like 1 or 2 from.

Historical romance
Julia Quinn, obviously, this was the series I have enjoyed the most.
Amelia Grey cos her books are cute.
Grace Burrowes cos I have read a million of her books and they are sweet.

Paranormal romance
Jill Myle's series was fun! Oh and her Jessica Clare contemporary ones are fun too, she has a third name also...anyway all her books are good.
Kresely Cole, hot!

Contemporary romance
Carolyn Brown, love her, heartwarmin!

Fantasy romance
Jeffe Kennedy, a must read
Grace Draven, omg, this one alone, Radiance, freaking read it!
Elizabeth Vaughan, awwwww Warprize, bliss.

Last one is not Abigail Reynolds in herself (even though I have read so many by her and enjoyed them all), but Pride and Prejudice variations! Love them. I can watch Darcy and Lizzy fall in love a million times.

  5. Thanks for the recommendations and kudos for keeping that love flower alive.
Nothing special, it's drs day at the Haupt house so I'll probably make a sweetheart dinner of spaghetti and meatballs and maybe make a chocolate cake for dessert.

  6. I don't normally read straight up romances, just a little bit or half-and-half romance and fantasy is more my thing :)

  7. I've only read Kresley Cole and Jeffe Kennedy. I love them both.

I kill anything that can't survive on it's own. I mostly have bulbs that live in flowerbeds. If I had anything in a pot, I either overwater or underwater.

  11. Yay for the flower surviving a year. Oh, good picks for your list. I still need to try Grace Draven's longer books. I've only read a novella, but Radiance does look good.

  16. You've mentioned a few authors I enjoy and some I haven't read. Julia Quinn used to be a favorite but I haven't read her in years since I don't read much historical romance these days.
