My thoughts:
I do not know what to say.
It is based on a famous Nova Scotian painter. She married this real idiot. Omg that man. OMG, he was a caveman. But then again, she gave him no choice, ok that sounds bad. But she moves in to share his house, he is being a real d*ck and caveman. And later she is all, we should marry. Omg, she played him! And he does, so she gets a man, I guess she wanted that and to have something. But still, he was such an idiot. I wished she could have fooled someone better ;)
She paints
He is a caveman.
The end.
Eh, pretty boring
A friend and I had planned to see that but it came and went before we had a chance. It sounds like we lucked out!
ReplyDeleteOh yes SO not a cinema movie
DeleteI haven't seen this one but I plan to, since Maud Lewis is kind of a big deal in Canada. But her life was really complicated, and her story was pretty sad in some parts!
ReplyDeleteYeah, she did not have a great life :(
DeleteI've never heard of this one.
ReplyDeleteYou know me ;)
DeleteLOL. I don't know know this movie but I feel bad for her. Ugh. I'd probably want to kill the husband.
ReplyDeleteI should stop watching this unknown weird movies lol

I don't think this one would be for me! What was the purpose of her tricking him into marriage? Why him? Did she need to marry him to paint?
ReplyDeleteDo You Dog-ear?
I really have no idea. They were roommates and maybe she was all, wtf, we can be married then! You want this, then we marry. And then she painted more and more. Maybe she just wanted a hubbie and kids one day and he was her nly choice
Deleteit's the first time I hear about this one
ReplyDeleteThat's why I am here
DeleteYeah I think I will give this one a wide berth. I just read a book where one of the characters infuriated me with her behaviour over a man!
