This was fun, I was not sure I would like this liveaction (BB was not a good one), but then Aladdin has humour and that saves it. The musical numbers were quite meh though.
I never realised Aladdin is such a moron, sheesh, how is that guy alive?
Will Smith was great!
Who was the weird Russian? that wanted to marry Jasmine?
I liked how they mixed things so not to show one origin of Agrabad.
Recommend. yes.
I still want to watch this

DeleteWill Smith is funny. I like him. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a little leery of live actions of some of the golden animated musicals after a few not working for me, but glad the humor made this one pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI just read the title of your post and the Prince Ali song popped in to my head. It was a good film, not as bad as I thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it. This was featured last summer as a free second film when we went to the drive-in to see Toy Story and after about 15 minutes in, we drove away lol. I could not sit through this one.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that version yet.
