April 7th: Novellas: Do you get enough or want more?
Novellas are obviously often better than short stories. And with all stories I often want more, even with long ones. There is a thin line between wanting more because it was good, and wanting more because it i just too short and not in any good way.
So yes I can not say yes or no, it all depend on how well the author manages.

I don't get many novellas so I guess I'd have to say I want more.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Sometimes short stories just don't have enough information but sometimes they do tell a wonderful little story.

DeleteSame. They used to be very incomplete so I didn't like them. then a year or so ago there were some amazing ones that also helped when my attention span was short. But now they're kind of meh again lol

It really does depend. I think the best ones are the "in between" stories in bigger series I already read.

DeleteOf course, it depends on how well written it is whether I enjoy a novella or not, but I don't mind them especially when its more from a favorite series or author.
