Many would make a great one, but in the end it all depends on the people making. I was not impressed by Wheel of Time, I was not impressed by the new lord of the things series. Fantasy is tricky, yeah maybe I should not take about fantasy.
Which book/series would make a great movie/tv series?
I want to see an urban fantasy series, like Mercy Thompson and the like. That would be bloody amazing!!!
As for romance, I often read books that I would love to see as movies. More romance movies that are not drama please
Which tropes do you enjoy the most?
Which books are you looking forward to reading this Summer? (June-August)

Oh my gosh, I would love a Mercy series.
ReplyDeleteRight!! That would be so freaking amazing
DeleteI think some of the thrillers I read would make a good movie. I'd love to see Mercy Thompson if done right! Didn't you say the new Dune was pretty good? I should probably watch that. Yes, no over the top drama!
ReplyDeleteOmg the new Dune was amaaaaazing. I need to watch it again
DeleteI worry about fantasy/UF, but there are some really good ones out there. Then would I get frustrated at a pared-down storyline? Historical mysteries may be good.
ReplyDeleteYeah I do worry, I am always disappointed in the end
DeleteI think the caveat to this week's question should be if done exceptionally well--dream cast, amazing writing, sky's the limit budget, perfect execution, and all that.
ReplyDeleteFantasy can be tough to translate from book to screen. I try not to get my hopes up too high.
I am not too far into the Mercy Thompson series, but I am with you! That would be my kind of show.

Ack Mercy would be so good. but it had to be done right, and the problem with when you have read a book it can never be right
DeleteI've always thought the Dark series from Christine Feehan would make a good movie series.
ReplyDeleteI have never read those so for me it would be a fun one to watch
DeleteTotally depends. There are a lot of books/series I would love to see made into movies or shows but if you can't do a good job of it I'd rather it not happen at all.
ReplyDeleteI am with you, I would rather not see them made then
DeleteUrban Fantasies like Mercy Thompson would make great TV shows. Good pick!

I hope something gets made one day
DeleteI'm surprised you didn't say The Others by Ann Bishop!
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
I would love that, but I also love it too much for my heart to break
