7/25/2023 What is your favorite thing about summer?
Favorite thing? Well that it is warm outside. Finland is a very cold country. The south of Europe is burning down and melting and we have today the extreme heat of...17c. Yeah that is Finnish summer.
I do love the light. At midsummer the sun sets, and then rises soon after. I love (and hate) that it is so light outside.

DeleteYes, I live in northern US so my hot days are in the mid 80s F (26C), not the scorcher that they are experiencing elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteWe had some hot days in June..but not now. But at long as there is no wind this works

DeleteI get the worst of both worlds. In winter I suffer from the cold (and get colds LOL - complete with laryngitis). In summer I DIE from the heat. So I basically hate the summer with a passion. Can we have a bit of good old spring please?

Spring is like non existant. Full blown winter still in April. Spring May. Boom then suddenly summer in June

ReplyDeleteWe do get that. And that is why somewhat higher temps are lovely cos a bikeride when it is warm at 11 pm is lovely

DeleteBesides the occasional thunderstorm or lightning storm during the monsoon season in the summer, absolutely nothing. I don't like summer at all because our temperatures are just way too hot, I get too sweaty and sticky and have to shower sometimes twice a day.
