My thoughts:
Annabelle is a spinster, oh you know she is already 25! Ready for the grave really. Her reputation is also on ruins after a little kiss in the gardens at 18. But who needs men! She is busy taking care of the estate she will inherit, reading her books and taking care of the people living there. A good honest woman. But there are always buts, if she does not marry before 25 she will loose the estate. Well that sucks. Better find a husband, but who wants a hubbie who can bully, take over her estate, even sell it. She would still loose everything.

Then we have Quinn, sent after by his aunt to help weed out the rotten suitors. He is a scoundrel, I mean the series title says it all, oh and the title of this one. He was also the one who ruined her at 18. Why the family never set it right I do not know, maybe they thought they would resent each other. But he is a good guy, just a scoundrel set for America.

Oh and they fancy each other pants off (since she wear pants in the fields). But the road there is long. He wants to start a new life on his terms in America. She needs to stay here and save Glenarvon. So in the beginning of the book I want to hit him over the head, and then at the end of the book I really truly want to hit her over the head with a book. Stupid girl!

Conclusion:
But it was a fun romance, and there is a baddie too. Let's just hit him over the head too, nah, we can hit him somewhere lower.

My thoughts:

Ok so I know I like the hit people in books over the head, but Sebastian did deserve it later on in the book. *hits him over the head*

Miranda is, how to explain her really, she loves her village, her work, she is lively, and maybe not the most refined. But she was a delightful heroine. Except for when she went into her crush's bedroom *hits her over the head too* That was such a stupid thing to too.

While Sebastian used to be out there, he is now proper and just wants to find a good wife.

They are so good for each other, but she likes his brother and he wants the perfect boring wife. Which made it enjoyable to see them fall in love. Except for that time when I wanted to hit him cos he thought stupid things. Oh stupid men. Which also made me dislike his brothers at one time cos I wanted them to be upset. And see I am rambling, but you will see.

Conclusion;
Enjoyable.

My thoughts:

Oh Edward, so I understand why, but still, why? He is angry at a man, and the man deserves it. Edward buys all his debts, and the one good thing is that he is pushed into is taking that man's child as a ward. So yes that was good, so she would not be out in the streets. Still, revenge...

And he does try, taking a doll to the kid and everything.

Haha, there is no kid, just a 21 year old woman who loves her father. Why? I do NOT know. Her father was an ahole, who took everything of value, sold it, and left poor Kate alone and in debt. But it's hard to stop loving family even if they are aholes.

The rest is obvious;

Oh my ward is hot? Damn. Is she in her father's pay? Will she destroy me? She can't be trusted. All women are bad. But she is beautiful.

Where is my father? Why do I have a Duke as a guardian? Oh he is pretty. No, do not look at him. I will become a doctor. But he is so handsome. One kiss wont kill me.

They dance around each other. There is lots of smexy time (we all know I skim that, but for you who want lots then here it is.) There is drama, and there is a happily ever after.

Conclusion:
I'd read more by her.
