This was fun (would make such a fun romantic movie too.) Piper is a socialite, all about parties, likes and fun. But then her world comes crashing down and she is exiled! Better yourself if you want to return is her sentence. She is bubbly, energetic and soon realises some important things about her life and so called friends.
Brendan is a fisherman, captain of his ship. A bit cranky when it comes to a certain socialite. And also not ready to move on.
They meet, they get on the wrong foot at once. And then they fancy the heck out of each other.
I liked to see Piper finding her way and realising how strong she is. I liked to see their romance evolve, and I really want to see if her sister finds love since she sure has something going on.
I enjoyed it.
Great narrator, she got the different voices and she made it really enjoyable listening to. She got the feal right
Piper Bellinger is fashionable, influential, and her reputation as a wild child means the paparazzi are constantly on her heels. When too much champagne and an out-of-control rooftop party lands Piper in the slammer, her stepfather decides enough is enough. So he cuts her off, and sends Piper and her sister to learn some responsibility running their late father's dive bar... in Washington.
