The end? Oh no, I had not realised it before the actual epilogue. But it was a perfect ending and I was happy.

Alex in in charge of FIB, and is unsure. Faelan is Winter King, and well issues there too (I still want her with Death though, alas no, I can't even remember what happened. Anyway, this is not a book to jump in too, like all UF it has to be read in order. A lot has happened. Grave Witch stuff, evil queens, ghosts and much more. And in this final installment a bomb ruins a gateway and all of Faerie suffers.

Alex has a lot on her plate. Things go down, and yes I can't really say more about that. It has been a great series and I will miss it. There are too few new UF series that wow me these days. These from the golden days are always good reads. I hope she writes more UF soon.

I read the first few and then I have listened to Emily Durante narrate these last 3 and she has been great. I like her voices for everyone, her tone and feel of the book. I highly recommend listening to this series.

Number 7, and this time not that much talk about those dancing shoes. You have to read it to understand ;)

I liked Daphne, I would have been a lot angrier. I mean yes her husband left to go to war, they had barely been married, but then he came back, but not to her. Yes that would have made me mad, my husband back from war, like come by and say hello at least. She has been doing her own thing for 7 years now. Going from Ball to Ball, and getting into trouble.

So yes Colin wasn't that smartest guy on the planet. He had commitment issues, and emotional issues. But I understood, he had been through a lot, and he had his issues. He just needed a kick int he behind to understand how great they could be together.

I liked them together, they married without ever even talking, and now they get to know each other. And trying to figure out what to do with the trouble she is in

A really evil baddie with bad bad intentions. I'd like to kick that guy down to hell.

I enjoyed this book.  The next one will be interesting to be sure

Aston is always good. I like all her voices and how she gets the Ton just right. She really is great with historical romance

Loving this author's stuff! Couldn't wait to check this one out. 

Louisa sees herself as beautiful, selfless, fun, and a true guide to her family. Her family is less inclined to agree with this description. They see her as interfering, annoying, pushy, rude, and completely spoiled. When secrets start bubbling to the surface, Louisa and her family have a lot of choices to make. Will Louise make things right before they go even more wrong?

OOOOoooOOOooooOOOooo Louisa. I wanted to smack her silly. She reminds me a little bit of my to-be MIL. She is so blinded to her flaws and how her family truly perceive her. She is a big jerk sometimes. I honestly had a hard time even remotely liking her until near the end. Sure...I found her funny and entertaining, but I was on her kids' side. Not a fan. Sure...she went through some stuff and she really does believe she is doing what is best for all, BUT GAH. Some of the things she said and did. Boy oh boy. 

There was a lot of humor and I'm sure we can all relate to some of the family issues here in some way shape or form. It was fun seeing all the secrets come to life and seeing all the family drama unfold. 

The ending was great! I enjoyed seeing everything come together. I won't spoil anything ;) But it was good and it made me happy. 

This was quick and fun. I was able to finish it in just a couple of a sittings! 

Overall, I loved watching everything bubble and see everyone coup and just talk. Louisa was for sure....interesting...and I liked seeing her and her family's journey. For sure worth the read. I'll give this 4 stars.
