1. Witchling by Yasmine Galenorn
I tried it, but I failed to connect. All I remember is that she got shoes for free and have a big butt. Oh and that ravenblue hair.
Eh, dnf
2 The Broken Eye by Brent Weeks
I tried, and tried, but after 150 pages when I still had SO much left I gave up.
I only read book 2 it a year ago, but remembered nothing.
I was bored.
DNF.
3. Summer at Tiffany's by Karen Swan
Bored from word one
4. The Broken Angel by SW Vaughn
Meh.
5. The devil's nebula by Anna Hackett
Meh
6. Marcus by Anna Hackett
meh
7. Texas Secrets by Jean Bashear
Meh, I gave up
Lol, Linda, shoes for free and a large butt do indeed seem like a flimsy incentive to go on reading! :D I see that though seasons may change and whole months go by, one thing remains unchanged: your determination to stay in shape!! :) Though I have to say I would I would probably feel more motivated to go out walking if I lived in such a beautiful place! Gorgeous pics :)
ReplyDelete;)
DeleteI try my best ;D
I do like to walk here as the seasons change. And I do love taking photos
That's a lot meh. Lol.
ReplyDeleteNothing else to say about them, cos so meh
DeleteKeep walking!
ReplyDeleteYay for the walks and loving your pictures yet again :) It took me 2 or 3 tries to get into the YGalenorn series to be honest. Now I love it, but didn't at first lol
ReplyDeleteI just do not want to force it, and I do hear she collects lots of men, would be annoying
DeleteI could walk around inNarnia all day. And you really go through a lot of books in a week! How do you do it?!
ReplyDeleteThese are dnfs gathered from many weeks ;)
DeleteLove the pretty summery scenes from your fitness walks.
ReplyDeleteOh, bummer you had so many DNFs, but at least you're making progress on your TBR pile, right? :)
;)
DeleteBarely making a dent, since I dl too many freebies, more than I will ever dnf
Very sad week of DNFs The flower are lovely though.
ReplyDeleteI got thousands more
DeleteI also have a problem with the Galenorn books
ReplyDeleteThey are not for everyone
DeleteNice walks last week! Love the pics.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh I love your DNF reviews - far better than mine! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHehe, thank you
DeleteI've tried a few Galenorn books but her writing just isn't for me I guess.
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
I am not alone then
DeleteAnother great walking week for you and beautiful pictures, as always. Too bad about the DNFs though.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteAre those lupines? So pretty!
ReplyDeleteyes :D You are supposed to destroy them, but I think they are pretty
DeleteI love lupines! They have a lupine festival here in the states near where my dad lives in New Hampshire. He has gone in the past and gotten some awesome photos. Why are you supposed to destroy them?
DeleteThey are not native so they push out every other flower until only they are left
DeleteSorry you had to write another big post of DNFs. The only one I've heard of/read on there is Brent Weeks' The Broken Eye. The series is okay, but I think I am mostly continuing because the next book is the last one, so I figured why not.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics as always!
~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I get that, I would have done that too if I had made it through this one. To know how it all ends
DeleteYasmine Galenorn is an author that I've been wanting to try. I've seen mixed reviews for her. Maybe I'll try a different series.
ReplyDeleteMelanie @ Hot Listens & Rabid Reads
I did read a novella by her that I liked, maybe I can like her books in small doses
DeleteDNF Time! Woot... Did you read the other books in Hackett's Phoenix Brothers series? I remember that I really liked a couple of them.
ReplyDeleteHehe.
DeleteI do fear her books as not at all for me
What pretty blue flowers!
