June 4th: Who are some of your favorite audiobook narrators?
First, I am really bad with names. I am sure I have favorites that I will not even remember ;)
But, let's start with Vikas Adam, because his voice makes my insides melt into puddles.
Justine Eyre is great! Lately I have only come across her with historicals, but for me she excels at those. Though I do really like when she does fantasy/sci.fi too.
Amy Melissa Bentley does great YA voices, she is such a great fit there.
Anthony Ferguson, what can I say, I just like when he does Highlander romance!

YIKES! You know I don't listen to audio reads, so I can't even respond.(lol) Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteI have a few too Blodeuedd, Jim Frangione, Sebastian York, Julia Whelan and some others too
ReplyDeleteI have listened to York :) He is good
DeleteI really like Maggi-Meg Reed but I don't think she's narrated a book in a long time.
ReplyDeleteDunno who that is, i have to investigate
DeleteI don't really do audiobooks so I don't have one...
ReplyDeleteTryyyyy one
DeleteI just listened to a YA book with Adam's and he almost ruined it for me. I thought his voice was too gruff and older sounding for how the author described the character. I wonder if it would be different in another book book though.
ReplyDeleteI'm SOOOOOO picky with audiobook voices. I'm still getting used to the format.

Puddle, always, puddle! Maybe you should try Heartstrikers. Cos once you are in love you stay in love
DeleteI have listened to Justine, she’s really good, but the others not sure. I will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteJustine seems to be everywhere I listen recently
DeleteOh man, too many to name. But I like Vikas Adam and Justine Eyre too. Few more favorites off the top of my head are Simon Vance, January LaVoy, Emily Woo Zeller, Peter Kenny...and I'm sure I'm forgetting a whole bunch. I'll need to check my reviews.

I like Emily! The rest are new to me. Then there are those I liked but I have only listened to twice so that feels unfair
DeleteMy latest narrator crush is Michael Crouch, but yes, so many wonderful talents out there.
ReplyDeleteI have to try him
DeleteI like Justine Eyre too, Davinia Porter of Outlander is extraordinary I think.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try her! But I d have Outlander so...
DeleteMy favorites are Lorelei King (Mercy Thompson, Charley Davidson); James Marsters (Dresden); Renee Raudman (anything with Ilona Andrews); Amanda Ronconi; Karen White.
ReplyDeleteI did like Lorelai, but I have only done one same with Renee :)
DeleteI do enjoy Justine Eyre. I love Therese Plummer, Lorelei King, Renee Raudman, and Mary Jane Wells! Oh, and Luke Daniels! I'm sure there are more. :)
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try Luke! I know!
DeleteFun! I don't have "favorites" yet.
ReplyDeleteSoooon
