Latest DNF post

It was all I could think of

The Girls with No Names by Serena Burdick
I found it reeeeeally hard getting into this audiobook.

A Delicate Deception by Cat Sebastian
I kept jumping to other books so in the end I gave up

The Pilot & the Puck-Up by Pippa Grant
She was strangely occupied from keeping her 26 year old sister from boinking, what was up with that?

I am so sad, it was a bit too much for me.

She was unlikable.
He was too much

  1. I need to get better at giving up on books that aren't working for me.

  2. Why does she care if her 26 yr old sister is boinking? That would be strange and a little annoying. I just had a book I finally gave up and made a DNF: From Alaska With Love. Lured in by a cute cover only to be disappointed. *sigh*

  4. Bummer about Cat Sebastian's. I've always found her books to be light and happy reads.

I can barely get into anything right now. I don't know if it's the book or my brain though.

  6. I tend to give up on books when I keep wanting to jump around too. Who cares what her sister is doing...she's 26!

  7. That's what books you can't get into deserve.

  8. I don't DNF, but so far this year there hasn't been any that I would if I did, so I call that win!

  9. I've gone a few months without a DNF, but it has been a close call a few times lately. Too bad about your little stack there, but better to stop and move on. :)

  10. I get so much joy from your DNFs. I've not read that specific one from Pippa - I loved the ones around the girls in the rock band. But I listened to another one and it was okay.

    1. Hehe.
It could have been good if the main character had not been a raging vajay blocker
