Latest DNF post
It was all I could think of
The Girls with No Names by Serena Burdick
I found it reeeeeally hard getting into this audiobook.
A Delicate Deception by Cat Sebastian
I kept jumping to other books so in the end I gave up
The Pilot & the Puck-Up by Pippa Grant
She was strangely occupied from keeping her 26 year old sister from boinking, what was up with that?
I am so sad, it was a bit too much for me.
She was unlikable.
He was too much

Yeah, DNF is sad.
ReplyDeleteEh, it is worse to finish bad ones
DeleteI need to get better at giving up on books that aren't working for me.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard!
DeleteWhy does she care if her 26 yr old sister is boinking? That would be strange and a little annoying. I just had a book I finally gave up and made a DNF: From Alaska With Love. Lured in by a cute cover only to be disappointed. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI know right!!! It was so weird, all I have to protect her virtue! Srsly?
DeleteI haven't had a DNF in a while.
ReplyDeleteI have a low threshold
DeleteBummer about Cat Sebastian's. I've always found her books to be light and happy reads.
ReplyDeleteI can barely get into anything right now. I don't know if it's the book or my brain though.

I really do not know what my problem was...maybe the narrator
DeleteI haven't had any DNF for a bit...some close calls though that I just suffered through
ReplyDeleteI suffered through some too ;)
DeleteI tend to give up on books when I keep wanting to jump around too. Who cares what her sister is doing...she's 26!
ReplyDeleteShe was from a small town so that means she never did anything in that small town...LOL. Sure sis
DeleteThat's what books you can't get into deserve.
ReplyDeleteI don't DNF, but so far this year there hasn't been any that I would if I did, so I call that win!

Woot for you!
DeleteI've gone a few months without a DNF, but it has been a close call a few times lately. Too bad about your little stack there, but better to stop and move on. :)
ReplyDeleteAt least it was not big! Once a month is good
DeleteI get so much joy from your DNFs. I've not read that specific one from Pippa - I loved the ones around the girls in the rock band. But I listened to another one and it was okay.
ReplyDeleteHehe.
DeleteIt could have been good if the main character had not been a raging vajay blocker
