Where I got It: My shelf (audible)
Summary: Past loves should stay in the past.
After the way my first love took off for the ends of the earth, the last thing I want is to see him on billboards and bookstore bestseller shelves. Now my boss just handed me the project that could make my career. All I have to do is partner up with the man, the myth, the legend - adventurer Hunter Armstrong.
That's easier said than done, because when we reconnect, I learn Hunter has his own agenda on this project. And it's not to find a treasure in art and antiques. It's me. But what we discover shocks both of us, and we have no choice but to follow the clues....
Review:
This sounded so cute and quick! So why not!
The story follows two former lovers who were torn apart by careers and distance. 10 years later they are forced to work together. Sometimes the past is not over.
This was adorable. It was quick but this is just part 1. We have a couple of other parts to get through and I want to listen/read them right now!!!!! I need to know how everything is going to work and how they are going to find each other again. Sure they found each other physically but they have a lot to work through especially how Hunter was a poophead. Yes I said it!!! POOPHEAD!!
I get he just wanted to break it up because it was impossible, but a dang phone call that had zero emotion? I would've been bitter too if I was Presley!!! What a jerk!!!!
But he is adorable...and hot...and smart...and clever....and perfect for her. SIGHSSSSSSSS.
That end was crueeeeelllllll!!!!!!!!! I need book 2 now!!!!!
The narrators are perfect for the people they are voicing.
I do wish this was all in one book instead of broken up into smallish novellas. Sighs. Oh well.
Overall, I totally recommend this! I do hate that it is broken up into three parts, but I love the story and the narrators. 4 stars from me.
