How do you organize your Goodreads shelves?
First there is the Goodreads ones, and then my important ones:
'
Freebies
Did not finish
Different genres of interesting books I might be interested in
Books the library have
Books I own/Books I have read before GR
Book I NEED to Buy
Books I would like to buy
Books I wish I could buy
And then there are all my genres.
That's it :) Simple and wishful

Lol, and I look at them in that order, sadly the wish I could do not get picked a lot cos the need are imprtant ;)
I have a shelf called soon that I used to keep track of all the books that I have received for review. I would be lost without that shelf!
ReplyDeleteBack in the days that would have been crucial, now I get so few ;) But what an awesome shelf. I wish I had thought of it back when
DeleteOh my gosh Goodreads? I'm AWFUL
ReplyDeleteI need it cos else I would read the same book again and again, I am hopeless
DeleteI just order them by read-date, but I do have a number of shelves that I use to categorize my books - nothing to specific though, just in general!

Order by read is crucial, I would never recall anything if not
DeleteI wish I was little more organized with my GRs shelf. Someday. :)
ReplyDeleteThey keep my reading self sane
DeleteI confess I never add a different name on the ones already there
ReplyDeleteWhaat, one must
DeletePretty simple, but if it works, why make it complicated? How often do you go on Goodreads? I tend to only go on when I start/finish a book, or need to research a book.
ReplyDeleteALL the time. But yes when I finish, when I start, when I research, when I just want to check the blurb again. alot
DeleteThank goodness for GoodReads' shelves to keep our books and lists organized. I like seeing your shelf titles. Mine are similar.
ReplyDeleteI need those shelves!

DeleteThat such a simple system, I may envy it's simplicity. I'm redoing mine and I have LOTS of shelves because I want to be able to find everything easily... I'm not sure it'll work but I'm hopeful LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love these:
Book I NEED to Buy
Books I would like to buy
Books I wish I could buy <-- perhaps the best one LOL
Poor third one, they do not get picked a lot, lol
