8/10/2021 Tell us about the best summer job you've had
Well, that would be zero. I had this one where I was out in the field all day long, come rain come sun (at the end we were told that we should stay there even when it poured down.) We were weeding per hand. The only good thing were the times my friend was with me and we talked all day long. And I went back for years, making it like my only summer job lol
8/17/2021 Do you ever buy physical copies of your NetGalley/Edelweiss approvals?
8/24/2021 Do you have any pets? Tell us about them (past or present)
8/31/2021 What books are you looking forward to reading in Fall 2021? (September-November)
At least there was something good about it, right?
ReplyDeleteThere was :)

ReplyDeleteI mean...WHAT???
That was the last year for me, no thanks
DeleteI've never had a summer job. I was just working at whatever year round.

I do remember I had a May job once, it was miserable
DeleteI'm back from vacation!! I missed so many posts. That summer job sounds awful - but glad you had a friend.
ReplyDeleteI was a teen, money was money, but ugh
DeleteThat sounds like a horrible job!
ReplyDeleteIt was
DeleteI worked in a comic store once. Best job ever, because I could read the merchandise :P
ReplyDeleteOmg, that sounds great
DeleteThe only one I did is because of family because my grandfathers had vineyards and in august and september we had to collect grapes
ReplyDeleteThat is careful work
DeleteMy word that sounds like a really tough summer job.
ReplyDeleteNot the best
DeleteI didn't care much for my summer jobs, either, but they did help save up for college and there were moments when I enjoyed something about them so there is that. I worked in an orchard one year, but we never got any rain storms, but I wouldn't be surprised if they expected us to just keep picking the fruit.
ReplyDeleteI did earn, not a lot, like omg below minimum wage even, but it was something
DeleteThe only Summer jobs I had was as a babysitter. When I was 16 I started babysitting 3 kids who just slept at night while the mom was taking night classes. They never even woke up and I made easy money.
ReplyDeleteWow, love it! Much better than mine
DeleteOh Lord. I've never had a Summer job. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThey are not all keepers
DeleteUgh. That sounds miserable.
ReplyDeleteI was there for years
