12/16/2025 Have you been disappointed by the end of a series? If so, did you read that author again?
Hm, pretty sure yes, but damn if I remember. If you asked tvshows, then then I could tell you. But yes there must be books too...
Well I was not actually thrilled by the weird epilogue in The Wheel of time series. Everything was just for nothing. And that is the only one I can think of
12/23/2025 What's a song that always makes you want to dance?
12/30/2025 What are your favorite books/audiobooks that you read in 2025?

I think I would read the author again. I can't think of anything I've been disappointed in lately though.
ReplyDeleteI do have to be really disappointed
DeleteYeah, it doesn't happen often, but there have been a few series I didn't like the choice in how to end them.
ReplyDeleteThey do sometimes make weird choices
DeleteI remembered one after I finished my post. The Black Wing series by Christina Henry. Hated the ending.
ReplyDeleteOh dang...I do not remember the ending! I liked that series
DeleteOh yes I've been disappointed plenty. But no it doesnt stop me from reading the author again, it's the journey that counts.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Sometimes an ending is just an ending
DeleteI've been dissapointed with a few series (most YA years ago) and yeah, I tend to avoid those authors in the future unless they write a stand alone or the series is finished and people like it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should be happy I do not remember the disappointing ones
DeleteYes. The ending of the Iron Druid Chronicles really ticked me off! I will continue to read Kevin Hearne, though because the rest of the series was excellent. Cassandra Clare's Clockwork something? Can't even remember now, but the ending was terrible. I never read her again.
ReplyDeleteOh no...I never did start that series. ugh booo bad endings
DeleteYess there have been some disappointing series. :/
ReplyDeleteIt always happen
