The Way to a Hero's Heart...
Fiery, workaholic Lily Redman is sure of two things: that she knows good food and that she always gets what she wants. And what she wants more than anything is to make a success of her new American TV show, Celebrity Chef Swap without the help of her cheating ex-fiancé and producer, Patrick O'Brien. My thoughts:
Cute and fun and with a bit of drama in it.
Lily is a chef and is always on the go. She loves food, she loves her job and to her cooking is relaxing so I can't fault a woman for doing what she loves. Even if she could sit down and smell the roses now and then ;)
Kenan has issues. Trauma from his tours in Afghanistan, and unresolved conflicts with his ex.wife. He is a nice man, but does not say much.
Which means we have whirlwind meets stone. And she will break through that shell and they will slowly fall for each other.
Then we have the drama part that are from both their pasts and brings so something new into the mix. I can not tell you more...
Conclusion:
The book felt cute and I cheered for them.
