It was not bad, I just did not care. Maybe for another day...or not
Rhapsody
This was weird
I got the three first books from bookmooch, still mad about that, I wanted the first and someone made me get all 3 arghhh
The well of tears
The main characters died in book 1. I looked at the end here....weird series, boring too. but I had it
The island
Meh
The standing Dead
I should have read this one earlier. I read book 1 7 YEARS AGO! The reason why I never read on was because book 1 was crap. But I had book 2 and 3 sitting in my shelf. SIGH. So I tried, was confused and gave up. At least I try, now I can get rid of them
You did great walking this week. As always I love your pictures with the sun shining. So peaceful.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about all those DNFs, though.
It looks like you have a lovely place to walk.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, your pics are so green! Summer in full swing, I see.
ReplyDeleteSorry about all the DNFs though.
~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Yes a cold summer :)
DeleteI always admire how you faithfully get in your walks and rides. Such lovely pictures, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, the pain of disliking the first book and having the subsequent books on the shelf, too. At least you gave the series another shot.
Thank you :D
DeleteSo horrible, bleeergh. That is why i tried these two now, cos else they would be on my shelves foreeeever
Eeek! I'm fervently hoping that is a roundup of DNFs over a longer period of time than a week, otherwise you must have been in reading hell! Good job on the fitness, though. I'm doing well with the Pilates and Fitstep but just never seem to find the time to get walks into the schedule, which is a shame. Hopefully when life gets less crazily busy... Have a good reading week, please! https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/07/10/sunday-post-10th-july/
ReplyDeleteLol, yes it is, I do not know why many assume I go through that many dnfs in a week. I gather them up :)
DeleteI like walks, they are easier for me, I am so lazy with doing things at home
That's a lot of walking...and what beautiful photos you captured!
ReplyDeleteThank u
DeletePhew that's a lot of dnfs! Gorgeous pics as usual, hugs x
ReplyDeleteThanks :D
DeleteLovely pics. About the DNFs - I'm at the point that if I don't care about a book or dread picking it up it's an auto DNF.
ReplyDeleteGood idea. I will so not bother with something I wot even like
DeleteMy sister recommended the Rhapsody series to me, but I haven't gotten to it yet.
ReplyDeleteI peek ahead to haha! I hate it when a character dies!
It was weird and well Mary sue...totes
DeleteNo Luci pic?? :-( The scenery is lovely though.
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
Sorry
DeleteBeen a while since you have shared your DNFs! :D
ReplyDeleteIt was time for it again
DeleteI hate to DNF a book, especially if I paid money for it! But it sure happens and more often than I would like. I feel your pain :)
ReplyDeleteA library book I will dnf like there is no tomorrow, but yes a bought book hurts more
DeleteYou sure did a lot of walking this week! And as usual - lovely photos :)
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteGreat job and I love your pictures. That's a lot of DNF, but why waste time on a book you're not enjoying. I hope you found some good ones in between.
ReplyDeleteMelanie @ Hot Listens & Rabid Reads
Thank you :)
DeleteI found a better one
oh its not fun to do DNF!!! I hate it when authors kill of the main characters.
ReplyDeleteThat series was whack
DeleteYou are doing great on the exercising! I wish I could do everyday. And love the DNFs. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteNone of the books you mentioned look familiar to me. Oh, well.
ReplyDeleteNo loss then
DeletePretty sunshiney days :)
