Saturday Movie: Pilgrimage

In 13th century Ireland, a group of monks must escort a sacred relic across an Irish landscape fraught with peril.
Director: Brendan Muldowney
Writer: Jamie Hannigan
Stars: Tom Holland, Richard Armitage, Jon Bernthal |

1h 36 min Adventure/historical/drama

My thoughts:
I only watched this one cos Richard Armitage was in it. What more do you need? Ok so it was not a good movie, but it was not a bad movie either. It was just a deadly roadtrip :=D

One thing I liked that omg...the Irish monks spoke Irish! And Irish with the people they met. Whaat? And the Normans spoke French. But the common language was English for us poor people so we could understand some of it without subs. But it did feel real instead of everyone doing stupid accents that make no sense.

So road trip. Guard the relic. Bad people show up. Fights. The end. Yes not a lot happened and they were so religious and were all this rock is blessed! Just a stupid rock. Road trip and violence then

Hey Armitage was in it. Worth it.

    1. Haha, you are so silly, women, LOL!
But yes no, there are monks so obvi no women, and then they are guarded by soldiers so obvi no women. Sorry women! But would have made no sense to put in women just to make it all pc
