January 30th: What were some of the big best seller books that disappointed you?
Well honestly I have no idea which books are big bestsellers so I will just assume a few hyped books are and take it from there.
It won best YA of 2017 and nope, can't see it. It tried too many things. It should have settled with just her POV.
At least the book above this one was actually good, this one was an ok mess
This one was one of those hyped ones that left me utterly disappointed
Ha, oh yes the long ago hyped Graceling. Ugh that heroine!
Oh I do not know. So here are a few hyped ones that disappointed me. The common theme was YA...haha, weird
On another note, I do not seem to give one dang on what is on the best seller lists since I have no idea of what I have read have been there.

I didn't end up doing TMST this week because I rarely read best sellers and couldn't' think of too many books.
ReplyDeleteI guess a hyped book I didn't love would be The Hating Game.
Karen @ For What It's Worth
I did wonder about it so I did My own spin on it
DeleteI didn't love The Bear and the Nightingale, which seems to be an unpopular opinion.
ReplyDeleteWhaat! Lol, I liked that one
DeleteYeah sometimes I wonder about bestsellers some rock and some are bleh
ReplyDeleteBut different taste I guess :)
DeleteI passed by The Hate U Give so interesting. Oh my that is the dang cutest photo. Snow baby - adorable.
ReplyDeleteHihi, and Luci is always around
DeleteI've read Graceling and I didn't like it but don't remember anything else about it.
ReplyDeleteI liked Fire, but this one, blergh
DeleteThere's always gonna be good and bad ones.
ReplyDeleteI really am not always a great fan of super hyped books to be honest, they rarely work for me. I haven't read any of them, but I have heard of Hate U Give, and to be honest I am not that tempted to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteEveryone else love it so I seem to be one of those few who did not
DeleteLOL I never pay attention to those lists really.
ReplyDeleteNever had, never will
DeleteYeah, most "big" YA books have tended to disappoint me too! Hype is dangerous!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
They always do, sigh
DeleteI'm sure I've been an equal opportunity book hater whether its little known or hyped. I think I'd rather not know if its supposed to be the next best thing b/c I would probably run from it if it was. I have Graceling on my shelf, and yes, it was recommended so I got it. LOL
ReplyDeleteAhhh, cute snow play for kitty and baby.
LOl, and that is why we get those hyped ones. Or well, I try to get them from the library since I often get disappointed
DeleteOh my gosh that picture is cute! Ha ha fun in the snow!
ReplyDeleteI never did read graceling *shrug*
Whaaat? Lol
DeleteI've had a few bestsellers not work for me before so it happens :) CUTE PIC OMG
ReplyDeleteSO cute :D
DeleteI completely agree about Graceling. I liked the start but the second half was bad. I felt the same way about Fire though. Cute photo!
ReplyDeleteI liked Fire! It was so different
DeleteOh those two, they always run after each other.
ReplyDeleteBaby and Luci! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of hyped up books. I think the last one that I really felt live up to the hype was The Martian.
Melanie @ Hot Listens & Rabid Reads
Never read that one! But I did watch the movie
DeleteI haven't read any of the books on your list. Baby S looks like she is having fun!
ReplyDeleteShe had a blast
DeleteKitteh and baby! Awww!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteOMG!!! S in the sled and Luci chasing her for the win! I love that photo!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about best sellers, but there have been books I didn't care for the most have loved. Can't think of what they are right now. haha
