Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.
January 21st: Do you read/listen to more than one book at a time, or do you give every book your undivided attention? (Courtesy of Roberta@ Offbeat YA)
Many at once.
I do not always have the chance to listen, but maybe I have the chance to read so then I might read an e-book.
And at home I do want some reading time done and take out a print book.
Which means I usually read 3 at once ;) There is always a print on my bedside table, there is always one waiting to be listened at in my phone, and usually there is an ebook there too in case of emergency.
I love books too much not to spread my love around

I usually have one going in print and one going on audio.
ReplyDeleteA must
DeleteMe too.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI usually read one at a time but sometimes I'll juggle a few. I'm always afraid I'll get 'em mixed up, but luckily it hasn't happened- I don't think lol!
ReplyDeleteJuggle!
DeleteI can't read more than one at a time. My mom used to have a book in every room and would read whatever book happened to be in the room she was in at the time. I can't do that. One book at a time for me.
ReplyDeleteIn every room! That is s bit too many for me
DeleteI used to do 2 at once but now it's only one
ReplyDeleteIf I only read in print then I would do only one
DeleteI will listen to one and read one but if I take on too many at once they will get interchanged. I would hate for the wolf shifter to get blamed for the murder in another book LOL :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well I hope that will not happen
DeleteThe only time I can read multiple physical books is if one is a romance I'm not reviewing - I'll sneak in a few chapters before bed. Or if one is a graphic novel or something else that's short and totally different than a regular book.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's worth
MAny physical books as once is just greedy
DeleteI do the same thing. I always have 1 audiobook, and usually 1 ebook and 1 physical book.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to do it
DeleteYeah, I am the same way, always have at least two going sometimes three. I would probably have more if I didnt’ need to get reviews done.
ReplyDeleteHehe, same ;)
DeleteI am the same. One of each. :)
ReplyDeleteYay
DeleteSame here! I have my audios for my work commute and running, and my print/e-copy for relaxing in bed at night or whenever I can read it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is the perfect way
DeleteGood answer!

DeleteI used to read at least 3 at once, just like you usually one for each format - audio, ebook, physical book. These days though, most of my "reading" is done in audio, and with that I can only do one at a time or else I start getting the stories mixed up :P

We can't have you mixing things up
DeleteYep, two or three because of always needing a book around.
ReplyDeleteWow! I typically only "read" ebooks, so I just have two - e and audio. Print books are too cumbersome to hold! haha. My frail wrists!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Your poor wrists!
