Kate and Curran can NOT keep a low profile. Well I think Curran could, but not Kate. Someone comes to ask for her help and off she goes to help. But then these people really need help.
There is action, danger and just fun Kate and Curran times!
I really hope there will be more
Narration was great as I said in the first one.
In Book #2, MAGIC CLAIMS, Kate and Curran have just settled into their new home and their “low profile,” when a local businessman approaches them with an offer they can’t refuse. A mysterious evil has spawned in the nearby forest and is holding a defenseless town hostage. The “ransom date” is rapidly approaching.
It’s exactly the kind of fight the Lennarts can’t resist, not for the prize the town offers, but for the people who will surely die if they ignore it. If they succeed, they’ll be rescuing an entire community and can build a strong new base for their family and the Wilmington Pack. If they fail...well, fail is a four-letter word.
Nothing comes without a price. Now Kate must decide if she has what it takes to pay it.
Okay here is my vow I'm going to pick a series by this author duo and start reading. I've wanted to read them so long bc all of my blogger buddies love them. :) Thanks for the nudge
ReplyDeleteYes yes!! You have to do it
Delete*cheers* KATE AND CURRAN!
ReplyDeleteKacurra, nah, that was not a good nickname for them lol
DeleteIt sounds like this second book really raises the stakes for all of the characters!
ReplyDeleteI hope there will be more
DeleteLOL, yeah, she's not capable of holding back and staying out of things when she can help. :)
ReplyDeleteOff to the rescue at once. You have to love her
DeleteThis author is on my list to read at some point.
ReplyDeleteShe is fantastic
DeleteYes, she definitely cannot keep a low profile! Fun for us, though! Glad to see you loved it too! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy I got to try it. I fear that I soon have to actually start paying for one of these streaming services when my trial run runs out
DeleteAt first I was a little put off by this one because I felt like it was going back to the original series - relying on familiar patterns and the Pack. But then... *POOF* so exciting!
ReplyDeleteYeah I wondered that too, but it felt fun and new exiting
DeleteI loved both of these stories and really need to get my hands on this audiobook.
ReplyDeleteAudio was so much fun :D
