I decided to try another audiobook site (we have like 3 big ones here that are fighting for dominance and always lots of try it for free.) And I was yes, they have this third book! I need to listen to it.

Lots have happened. You must listen in order. Things in space are tense. Lexi gets in trouble in Valovia and meets hunky Nilo again. Lots of running, hiding, danger and falling in love. We meet the crew again and more danger to be had.

Some loose threads are still there, so I wonder if there will be a spin off?

Another good story

Great narration. Kept me entertained and listening.

As a recovery specialist, Lexi Bowen's jobs typically require more trickery and thievery than honest work. Her former captain might not approve of her flexible morals, but stealing artifacts for rich assholes pays the bills, and Lexi's had enough of war and death. The FHP left her to die once; she doesn't plan to give them a chance to finish the job.

Unfortunately, her latest contract takes her to Valovia itself--and right back into the orbit of Nilo Shoren, a Valovian teleporter who already cost her one payday and nearly stole her heart.

Armored against his clever charm, Lexi plans to get in, get the job done, and get out. But when her former crew goes missing in Valovian space, Lexi will have to work with Nilo to figure out what happened--and stop it--before the galaxy's two superpowers can use the disappearance as an excuse to return to war.

  1. I enjoyed this series, but this one wasn't my favorite. I wish the author would "complete" the world - she didn't with the previous series either... three books and done. But all so good! Glad you were able to snag this one.

  6. I've always alternated between Audible, Libro.FM, and Libby. Recently a publisher sent me a book to listen to and it was only available in Google Play. There's getting to be too many apps to keep track of haha

    1. I wish I could use libby, but via my library we have crap, absolutely crap options. I always forget about google play. I have some books there, some on audible, some on libro, yikes, so many places

  7. Free audiobooks! We don't have many of those. I get free listening arc's from Libro.fm but there's not lots of variety. And then Libby through my library (limited selection and long waits) and my fave - Hoopla.

    1. Well I would not call it free, since my free subscription ended and if I wanted to try it again. No thanks, the lowest price only gave you 20 hours of listening time in a month
