Saturday Movie. In Dubious battle

An activist gets caught up in the labor movement for farm workers in California during the 1930s.
Director: James Franco
Writers: Matt Rager (screenplay) (as Matthew Rager), John Steinbeck (novel)
Stars: Nat Wolff, James Franco, Vincent D'Onofrio

1h 50min | Drama

My thoughts:
Well this was another rather dull one. Farm workers finally go on a strike. And totally right! Damn the Man! They did not save any of their wages, because all went back to their bosses and people were even in debt to them. Strike strike strike!

Why was Selena Gomez in this one?
Franco was being Franco. That kid was good though.

But yes a rather dull movie. I can not recommend it.
Sooo Steinbeck.
