My Thoughts:
These two had their issues, for good and for bad.
Caleb, oh he just wants to take care of everything and I absolutely love him for that. Seriously, loved him. I would let him take care of me any day...ok nothing dirty there, get your minds out of the gutter!

Sadie has her own issues and she really wants to stand on her own two feet. Oh girl, let someone be nice! But her issues lies very deep.

Now what on earth could make these two form a relationship. He is a suit, all money and suave. She is a tattoo artist down on her luck.

A dog! Yes everyone loves a dog and they both fall in love with one. Omg the dog was the sweetest, it even made me want a dog! Schhh, not really though, I am afraid. But hey in theory.

Obviously the issues will bring drama and they have to work through it. And then this family of 3 can live happily ever after.

Oh and yes it is book 7 in a series. There is talk of other couples that they meet on their own, but I did not feel like I had to read those books to get this one. This is their story after all

Conclusion
A sweet tale.

Narration
Good female and male voices. A good range. And her dog voice was the best!

Story
When it comes to the confident, charismatic Caleb Parker, Sadie Lane feels the spark—the kind that comes from rubbing each other the wrong way. She’s a tattoo artist, he’s a straight-laced mogul. But after they accidentally co-rescue an abandoned dog from a storm, Sadie sees a vulnerable side to the seemingly invincible hottie.

you’d better be sure…

Caleb doesn’t do emotions. Growing up the underdog, he’s learned the hard way to build up an impenetrable wall. Perfect for business. Disastrous for relationships. He’s never worried about it before—not until he finally gets behind Sadie’s armor and begins to fall.

… someone is there to catch you.

Both guarded and vulnerable, Sadie and Caleb are complete opposites. Or are they? Shocked at their undeniable connection, can they ever admit to wanting more? That all depends on what they’re each willing to risk.

My kind of Wonderful - Jill Shalvis

Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

My thoughts:
Nope, I did not read book 1, and it did not matter. It takes place at the same place and with a new couple so yes on that. But if you want things in order you can read book 1 first.

Bailey has been in and out of hospitals for the last 10 years, but now she might just be free of it. She was stubborn, nice and wanted to live. What is there not to like?

Hudson is one of those guys with a chip on his shoulder. His misses his brother that he has not seen for ages (long story). The resort is not doing well (are they ever). His mum is not doing well and his siblings are all over the place. But as for how he was...stubborn (not in the good way), goodhearted and stubborn ;)

They argue, they argue, he gives in and they fall in love. And they live happily ever after. But hey first there is drama. She is just there for a short time and then she will leave. Can he just relax and let her in? So after all the will they wont they there will be passions and HEA.

Conclusion:
Sweet.

Simply Irresistible
After losing her boyfriend and her job, Maddie leaves L.A. to claim her inheritance-a ramshackle inn nestled in the little town of Lucky Harbor, Washington. She sees the potential for a new home and a new career-if she can give the inn the makeover it needs. Enter Jax, a tall, handsome contractor who knows exactly what Maddie needs...

The Sweetest Thing
Helping her sister set up the family inn is just the thing to make Tara forget her ex-husband and focus on her new life. Until she meets a sexy, green-eyed sailor determined to keep her hot, bothered, and in his bed. When her ex reappears, Tara must confront her past and decide what she really wants.

If the sisters are lucky, they might just find that everything their hearts desire is right here in Lucky Harbor.

My thoughts:

Simply Irresistible
Two books in one, now who can say no to that. Therefore I will also try to make this a bit shorter.

Maddie comes to Lucky Harbor to take over an Inn. She meets her sisters again too. Together they are the Steel magnolia, the wild child and the Mouse. And yes poor Maddie is the mouse. She has taken some crap in her life and it was nice to see her learning to stand up for herself in this one. She grew stronger.

In comes Jax, the hottie on a motorcycle. Oh yes sparks fly there at once, but Maddie has been hurt and always takes a step back. Which makes sense, but I also liked how Jax did not give up. He took his small steps forward and showed her that he wanted more. I do like a man who knows what he wants.

The chemistry between these two are sizzling and there is a lot of smexing going on in this book that is so sweet. The chemistry between the sisters also works well, and I do want to read their stories next.

I liked the book and it was just sweet you know (and hot). I closed it with a smile.

The Sweetest Thing
In the second book time has passed and it is now summer. Tara is trying to make the inn work, she is bonding with her sisters and avoiding local hottie Ford. I knew at once why there was tension between these two in book 2 so the answer sure did not come as a surprise. But I guess not everything needs to be a secret.

Tara is the uptight one, but she is not nearly as uptight at people think. She felt normal. She worried, she was human. The love interested, Ford, is a nice guy who really wants her. And it was nice seeing these two struggle to make it work. It was not easy considering.

But I think what I liked the most was the local gossip who had a facebook page and the news about Tara and Ford was all over it. It had such a warm small town feeling that you just wanted to visit and never leave.

The triangle, oh that I did not see at all. Her ex comes to town and wants her back. Not  that I never felt he even tried, and that I would have liked to see. So there really is none, this is about Ford and Tara and there lovestory, and the hot passion that burns between them. Yes they do get around.

Sweet is the word, I really can'y say much more than that. Sweet :) A feel-good book.
