My Thoughts
Why on earth Molly was hating on John I do not know, he was like a sweet teddybear that did everything to protect her. Just let him do it!

And with that I will begin. So my previous Ruggle books have been great, this one was still good, but I guess the couple did not sizzle like previous ones. Mostly cos she tried to get away from him and then suddenly she loved him and like a day had passed. Oh well, it was still fun!

5 sisters. They are bounty hunters. Their mother is a petty criminal and soon she is in trouble. Ugh, what a mother!!! I really hate her. And then sisters have to find her and clear this mess, and catch the biggest bounty of them all.

Molly is the one taking charge. And she crosses paths with her enemy John who is also a bounty hunter. But omg this guy, sweetie! He does all he can to help her.

Explosions, falling in love and catching bad guys. That sums it up. And sisters that hold together no matter what.

Narration
I have listened to her do Ruggle books before and I like her with them. She does them well and get the feel of intensity.

Five bounty-hunting sisters
Deep in the heart of the Rockies
Fighting to save each other
...and the men who steal their hearts

Bounty hunter Molly Pax fought hard for everything she has, turning the bail recovery business she shares with her sisters into an unqualified success. So when their sticky-fingered mother jumps bail and puts the childhood home up as collateral, Molly's horrified. To make matters worse, every two-bit criminal in the Rockies now sees her family's misfortune as their next big break.

She needs help, stat.

Enter rival bounty hunter John Carmondy: six feet of pure trouble, with a cocky grin to match. John's the most cheerfully, annoyingly gorgeous frenemy Molly's ever had the pleasure of defeating...and he may be her only hope of making it out of this mess alive.

Contemporary romance with suspense

My thoughts:
This is a start to a new series, but Steve was mentioned in the previous ones since he is a firefighter. But he left that town and went back to his family's ranch with his 4 kids. And let the new series begin.

Steve was a great guy. A good dad. And yes a cowboy, and you know that is my weakness in romance.

His love interest is Camille. The local hermit who never interacts with people if not necessary. She is an artist and she is absolutely adorkable! I adored her. She was awkward, but funny. Shy, but talked too much. She was perfect and I liked how Steve looked past all that and saw her. Awww omg the feels guys, the feeeeeels!

So obviously these two were adorable together. I loved how they interacted and tried to flirt and it made me lol so much. He was perfect for her, and she was perfect for his whole family.

There is a bit of suspense, but not that much to be honest. It is more at the end. There are fires, and if you want to know why and be spoiled then read the spoiler. But I warn you, it is a real spoiler cos I have to discuss some things. Trust me, do not read it!

<spoiler>What? I did not see that coming! And wtf he almost killed his niece even if he did not mean too. He was totes creepy watching Camille and almost killed her too. If he is out in 3 months then what says he wont do it again?! Please do not let him be a hero!</spoiler>

But the suspense part was so good, it gave me chills and I can not tell you why, but yes creepy.

It was a great book. I loved seeing them together (how many times have I said that now?). His family were adorable too! And omg, if his brother Joe gets a book, that might just give me the feels too!

The feeeels!
Conclusion:
Do listen to it

Narrator Vanessa Daniels
She was great with range, voices and she did a great job. I have nothing bad to say at all.

Blurb:
When firefighter and single dad Steve Springfield moved his four kids to a Colorado Christmas tree ranch, he intended for it to be a safe haven. But he never expected danger to follow them to his childhood home...

Or that he would come face-to-face with the one girl he could never forget.

Folk artist Camille Brandt lives a quiet life. As the town's resident eccentric, she's used to being lonely--until Steve freaking Springfield changes everything. Brave and kind, he's always had a piece of her heart, and it doesn't take long before she's in danger of falling for him and his rambunctious kids. But as mysterious fires break out across the sleepy Colorado town, Steve and Camille will have to fight if they want their happy family to survive until Christmas...

My Thoughts
Awww, awwww, awww! Omg you guys, Wes was SUCH A CUTIE! Seriously, I grinned SO many times while listening. He was just, awww, I want to hug him, and squeeze him tight. And Kit was perfect for him, perfect! She got him without even trying, she got him! *happy sigh*

Ok, the cover is all wrong, do not look at the cover. He is a bearded lumberjack.

Kit is the new cop in Monroe. And she is all wtf! The place is bombed out after book 3. It looks like the zombie apocalypse happened. Her colleagues are tight lipped and whisper secrets behind her back- And I get that they want to protect the women, but come on! Not cool guys, not cool! Hugh and Theo did not get any love from me in this book. But yes I get it, they can not tell her secrets that is not theirs to tell.
Anyway, Kit is awesome, she longs for a new start, she is good at her job and she loves her dog.

Wes is a socially awkward firespotter who has barely left his tower in 6 years. Nobody knows him (except weird mountain folks that respect him, they all keep to their own). But he is so cute and warm. He was the best thing about the book and when he meet Kit, awww. He so wants to try, but he is NOT good with women. But she fancies him too, and omg, adorbs!

I loved how slow it went, cos hello! Socially awkward and never leaves his tower! He relaxes around her and she likes how he gets her back. It was perfect.

Of course there is drama too. Since someone set a fire and Kit has her suspicions. Better catch that person before it is too late!

Conclusion:
Another great one from Ruggle! Wes and Kit is the couple of the year!

Narrator
Callie Beaulieu
She is great, and makes the book

Cover
Like I said, first she should be on the cover, it is her book. Second. He has a beard and is all lumberjack

Blurb
Kit Jernigan despairs of ever fitting in with her new tight-knit K9 unit. They've been through too much to open their arms to a stranger―and as mysterious fires begin raging across Monroe, she can't convince them to trust her long enough to catch the woman she knows is responsible.
Wesley March, local fire spotter, knows Kit is right, and he's willing to help her prove it. But the more time they spend together, the closer they get...and the more danger they're in. A member of the K9 unit's inner circle is determined to get revenge―no matter who gets burned in the process.
This time, it's personal.

My thoughts;
I would not want to live in this town! AT the same time I would love to live in this town.
Problem 1. They have a history of stuff blowing up and shootings.
Problem 2. A woman named Sarah has shown up, and she spells trouble.

Win 1. The people we get to know are awesome.
Win 2. Sounds really pretty!

So pretty but with a danger of things going boom ;)

Poor Sarah, her brother was beyond an ahole. That guy needed to just die. But she was sweet, if obviously timid .

Then there was Otto, the Viking Lumberjack as she thinks of him and omg, omg, he was so sweet! I just wanted to hug him. He was so careful, so smitten, so clueless that he was a hottie. I love you Otto!

But bad guys are after her. And things will get intense!!! Between that there are cute animals to pet and a lumberjack to woo.

Conclusion:
Suspense and romance. Perfect.

Callie Beaulieu (Narrator)
She did a good job and had a nice range. I fell into her story at once.
It was great listening to
