As always lots of characters, but this time a bit calmer, I think my problem with the previous one as that they all had similar names or smthg, and not here.

Riv is hot tempered, anger management issues and full of zeal. Did I like her? Eh. She made some bad decisions. She is training to be a fighter and fight for these overly zealous angels.

I do like some of the angels, the misbehaving ones. There are also other povs there.

Brem seems to be the the typical hero our of nowhere, and of course I like him. He lives with his dad hiding out in the middle of nowhere.

And then there are more, a giant, bad guys, and they will surely all meet up soon. As the bad guys are gathering to kill everyone.

I binged it, I do want more. Because thing are going down!

A race of warrior angels, the Ben-Elim, once vanquished a mighty demon horde. Now they rule the Banished lands, but their peace is brutally enforced.

In the south, hotheaded Riv is desperate to join the Ben-Elim's peacekeeping force, until she unearths a deadly secret.

In the west, the giantess Sig investigates demon sightings and discovers signs of an uprising and black magic.

And in the snowbound north, Drem, a trapper, finds mutilated corpses in the forests. The work of a predator, or something far darker?

It's a time of shifting loyalties and world-changing dangers. Difficult choices need to be made. Because in the shadows, demons are gathering, waiting for their time to rise...
