5/17/2022 How long have you been blogging? And has your blog changed over time?

I have been blogging since December 2008! I was bored, came across bookblogs and was all omg you can do this?! It  took a while to get going, and to find a bigger community. And that is really what changed things, the community of likeminded people.

And no, I mean yes the look has changed, but other than that I still ramble on as I always did. I tried to shake things up at times, but that is not me. In the olden days I had more guest posts from authors and giveaways, but damn that takes work! Now I just focus on reading.

5/24/2022 Do you review every book you read? Why or why not?

5/31/2022 Do you request ARCs? Why or why not?

  2. I look back to when I did a few giveaways and even *gasp* author interviews as well. Good times! But yeah they can be a lotta work...

I felt the same way when I discovered book blogs were a thing :)

  5. I love your style and you don't need to change! I agree, the giveaways and such are a lot of work. I remember I used to give books away each month - paid for postage from my own pocket. NO THANKS! Not any longer.

LOL, it does! I've always done little in terms of interviews, blog tours, etc., and only for authors/books I was familiar with or REALLY interested in. And I don't even think people care about them at this point. As for giveaways, I don't do them, because I'm poor LOL. Also, the community is what really gets us going - 100% agree.

14 years are a LOOONG time! You're one of the pioneers! 😉 Here's to many more!
