I could have enjoyed it more, but, no, modern Darcy was quite the arrogant asshat.

And Lizzy looked down on everything.

Darcy told her his nanny used to hit him, and she answers him, that sucks. Really, really, wtf Lizzy?

Bingley was quite the idiot too. I know he is the well Bingley! But. what an idiot.

Lydia was older here so the Wickham thing was just silly when Lizzy was all you are 19! Well he is 24. Wow. Ok so there is another twist too, but I like it more when he really is a creep that should be castrated.

Silly misunderstandings, and well in the end I just found most unlikable. There were good parts, so it can get a ok for that, barely

This turned out to be very dull.

I did like it at first, because it felt real. 2 people who do not know each other enters a marriage of convenience. Their first time is real. No sudden great passion. Just lying back and thinking of England.

But I never felt they them fall in love, as this is a romance and they would.

Instead it was dull.

Book 2 was great, and sure this book was good, but as a conclusion to the trilogy I wanted more.

I still do not like Zaire, she is too much in your face.

I do like Amalia, she will become a great politician.

I still do not think she and Marcello belongs together, they have zero chemistry

I do still love Kathe, he is awesome, they should totally be together, even if they can not live together.

Gotta find an evil guy and get rid of him.

Hmm, not enough of what made book 2 great.

Still, good, but not really the ending I wanted. I wanted more.

February 4th: Do you take advantage of free chapter previews?

Nope.

Maybe I should, I mean a lot of times I know already from page 1 that it is a no go, so a free chapter preview would help. But, I do not know, it sort of feels like cheating. I just want to buy a book and hate or love it.

But I SHOULD check them out. Cos it sucks when you buy a book and then by page 2 you are already bored.

But then where is that free chapter? At the best part? Cos I want the beginning to see if I can slog through or not
