Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.
July 3rd: Vacation Reading: What books would you pack for your vacation?
Honestly...no preference. I would pick what I am reading at the moment, or if there is something to review then that. I do read everything and anything all year round.
But...sure, if I really wanted to make it all vacay! Then I think I would go with chic-lit, nothing beats funny and cute during vacation! Light and easy.
I also would pick books about summer and beaches ;) Anything that screams summer. And now you make me want to read something like that. To make it feel like summer. But I do not think I have anything like it at the moment. Maybe next year.
My answer was then: Light and easy :D And fun!

I always take too many books with me because I never know what I'll be in the mood for.
ReplyDeleteBetter too many than too few!
DeleteYeah me too Blodeuedd I don't change my reading except maybe during the holidays, I do love a good Christmas read
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I love a good xmas read. I did not really have time last xmas but they are so fun
DeleteNo preference either and when I'l really leaving I usually don't have time to read
ReplyDeleteTrue, one tends to be too busy
DeleteI like chick lit on vacation because anything too heavy just becomes blah
ReplyDeleteEasy, light and short is awesome :D
DeleteLight and easy sounds good. Like you I'd take any review books I had then my Kindle for choosing because then I don't have to carry heavy books.
ReplyDeleteI usually take every format since you never know when something is gonna be out of power
DeleteAww love seeing pictures of your baby. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteI read PNR and it doesn't matter if at home or on vacation. That's pretty much all I read these days.
:D
DeleteI have noticed! If I could choose I would read only fantsy, but...I need light too so yay romance
No preference here either.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteYep, whatever is already in the process of being read and then whatever is grabbing my fancy for the moment. I read a lot at the airport and on the plane and a little when I'm out camping, but in truth, I read less on vacation and during the summer.
ReplyDeleteBefore I read lots during the summer, but now with a baby, well, every day is a working day lol
DeleteReading during vacation? Ahahahaha. I always say I will use my vacation to get reading done, but it never happens. I find I am even busier :)

It used to be the case but now, hey I am home all day, it's not like I get more reading done ;D
DeleteHa! Well yes that tends to be the issues
ReplyDeleteI tend to go for books that are light and easy when I have time off as well.
ReplyDeleteIn a way I guess one should do the opposite, when there is not enough time then those light ones would be good
DeleteI like a variety!
ReplyDeleteI'm on vacation now! I find sometimes I don't get all my reading time I'd like while on vacation. But I have my kindle and I just plow through my schedule or TBR. Nothing special! Hope you are well! I've been MIA lately!
ReplyDeleteI get that. We will see, but we will perhaps go away for a few days and I doubt there will be reading time ;)
