4/11/2023 How long do you stick with a series you loved, if you start not enjoying the books?

Oh this is a hard one! It really depends. If I read book 2 and it is meh, then sure I will give book 3 a go if it is a trilogy. If more books are coming then I will def NOT read book 4 if book 2 and 3 has been meh.

But yes it does depends....

4/18/2023 What were your expectations when you started blogging?

4/25/2023 If you could go back and change one thing about your life, what would it be?

  1. I'm so bad at sticking to a series if it just okay. Now...if I'm sucked in I'll read the whole thing lol.

  2. Its a tricky one, but sometimes series books just get too much of the same and then I have to let them drop.

    1. I did read a LOT of Janet Evanovich, I tried that series so long after it stopped being good

  3. It does depend, sometimes it just depends on the series :)

  4. It does depend. I'm with you if it's book one or two I'm moving on. If it's book 8 or 9 on series I love I'll see if the next book is still not so good. It could be just a fluke in the series.

    1. Exactly, but if I am at book 12 and they still suck, then I can let it go

  5. I must be a glutton for punishment because if I really like the series and have been reading it for years, I will just stick with it. It has to get good again, right?

  6. It really does depend. I really only thought of series I was already invested in, but shorter series - I may let go sooner. Also, I think it depends if all the books are out or if I have to wait a year for the next one.

    1. It does depend, and then with some you just have to let it go

  7. That's a tough one to answer. I tend to take each series on an individual basis for that decision.
